Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created CaroMont Regional Medical Center, and I noticed that your username, "CaroMont Health", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. /wiae 🎄 14:19, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you also inserted text into CaroMont Regional Medical Center that had been copied from http://www.caromonthealth.org/About-Us/History.aspx. Since the text on that website is copyrighted, we cannot include it in Wikipedia, per our copyright policy. Also, the text was not written from a neutral point of view, as it seemed to praise the medical center and included several "buzzwords" that don't really belong in an encyclopedia, like "nationally-recognized leader" and "valued partner". As such, I've removed the content from the article.
I'd also like to draw your attention to our conflict-of-interest policy. Most editors find it very difficult (if not impossible) to write neutrally about a subject with which they are intimately connected. I would discourage you from editing the article directly. If you feel there is a problem with the article (factual error, omission, etc.), you are welcome to leave a note on the article's talk page along with a Requested edit template. This will flag your request so that a volunteer can assess the proposed changes and weigh whether they should be included in the article.
If you have further questions, you're welcome to respond here or on my talk page. Thanks, /wiae 🎄 14:26, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. TheSandDoctor Talk 05:24, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
