Your edit to Talk:Batman vs. Superman
Funny that you discourage the talk page from being a forum, yet you feel the need to respond to an uncontributive comment from back in October with one of your own. Might not want to be hypocritical. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 18:17, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- No big deal. I find it's best to revert the comments as they happen while saying in the edit summary that the comments are not contributive to improving the article. I wouldn't recommend reverting months-old comments, though. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 07:19, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Carlito's WWE Championship reign
Yo, this is me Akis "The Prophecy" from Athens-Greece, the man who wrote that Carlito is scheduled 2 win the World Wrestling Entertainment Championship at Wrestlemania 23. First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! Now, as for the title reign, I didn't hear it anywhere! I am a huge Carlito fan and I wrote that hoping somebody working for WWE will read it and pass the idea forward 2 the board of directors. Yes, I know that's spoiling! I know how U feel and you're absolutely right, but I did it once and I'll never do that again! That's a promise!!!Sorry again and happy new year!
P.S.#1: Do you like the fact that half of the Raw fans boo John Cena? I mean, I think the guy is great! He is a face WWE Champ, he is unstoppable, he has defeated HBK, Kurt Angle, Kane and even HHH fair and square in the middle of the ring at WM22 by submission. You don't have 2 like someone so as 2 respect him and Cena's accomplishments surely demand everybody's respect! I am a HUGE fan of John Cena and a Chain Gang Soldier and I say this has got 2 stop! Nobody is forced to like Cena and everybody who doesn't surely have the right and should state that but, COME ON, NOT THIS WAY! Damn it!
P.S.#2: Don't u like Carly to? I believe he should go at it 101 with Cena at 'Mania with the Raw title on the line, Carlito cheats and wins the title (the only way Cena loses a match! - kayfabe or not), Cena goes 2 SmackDown and becomes WWE Tag Team Champion with Batista (who loses the SmackDown Championship to Kane) and once and for all LASHLEY BEATS RVD! (I like RVD but prefer Bobby who reminds me of Goldberg by the way...!)
I know, this is too long and I make you tired. I'm sorry once more! Hope you get to read this, and mail me at akis_michalakopoulos@yahoo.gr
I'll not check this place again, so if you really want 2 mail me back hit akis_michalakopoulos@yahoo.gr
Hope 2 get a reply soon and any wrestling or basketball fan reading this can mail me. BYE!!!!!! (Finally, right......!)
AkisTheProphecy again! I said any wrestling and basketball fan can mail me. Well, this also includes r&b, hip hop (softcore) and GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS fans! (and New Jersy Nets fans by the way...)
RE:My bad
No Problem, man. Next time, please use a {{test1|article name}} warning if someone makes a weird edit without providing proper rationale. If the user continues to make edit likes that, just progress up to level 4. FinsFan apparently has a notorious history of not paying attention to warnings, as you can tell by his talk page ;-). Sorry If I seemed rude, I wasn't mad at you or anything, I just didn't want his user talk page to get messed up ;). Thanks for your time.
PS:If FinsFan is still posting random crap, and you have warned him more than three times, you can ask User:Meegs(the one who previously banned FF) to intervene :) -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 23:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Dark Dragon Flame, your "warnings" to User:Finsfan8499 are completely inappropriate and need to stop, as does your edit warring on article Son Goku (Dragon Ball). Please discuss the matter civilly on the article's talk page, and cite the sources of your own information. For your benefit, I have started a new topic at the bottom of the page. I'm leaving a similar message for Finsfan8499, who has been behaving equally badly. Regards ×Meegs 00:58, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey, Dark Dragon Flame. Recently, there hasn't been much trouble with the article except for some speculation in James McCloud's section. Other than that, if there's any more problems with the page, I think it should be semi-protected. --AgreeneyedFox 05:54, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Jrapidfire
Hey DDF, thanks for the help on the Broly: Second Coming page but this Jrapidfire is really getting on my last nerve with that editing mess and his personal attacks. He may have to get banned. I can tell he is a fanboy as I have wrote today on the talk page. Little guy wont listen to reason and keeps on changing articles to Original Research statements. What do you think we can do to stop this mess he keeps causing?
You have got to be kidding me. I replied to it but I can not believe he did that. oh well Banned his A-- I say!!
Hey do you by any chance have the Article for that move saved or copied somewhere? He has just went to Answers.com and copied that whole article and paste it on the article here. I can tell, I check it and it is word for word.
Jrapidfire has been blocked for 24 hours after I filed a report here. See his LOG -- bulletproof 3:16 19:53, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Edits without edit summaries tend to look like vandalism or spam!
I have noticed you commonly don't enter an edit summary. This causes me problems. When I patrol for vandalism, I use the summary to make a preliminary decision on whether or not the post is a vandal edit or not. If the summary is present (or at least a section header, the part inside the /* */), I commonly decide the edit is legit and move on.
However, if no edit summary is available, I typically resort to loading the diff for the edit. This takes time. For that reason, if your edits are all valid, I ask that you provide edit summaries. For more on how to enter an edit summary, please read Help:Edit summary.
Incidentally, it is not just me that appreciate having edit summaries. When you omit your summary, you may be telling various bots that you are vandalizing pages. For this reason, please consider providing that summary. It is very important.

What does this category include: Category:Fictional characters who have been genetically engineered. Does that include characters like Dr. Gero and Android 17 and 18? If so, I'll add the category to the bottom of their pages, but I want your opinion on it first. Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball) 19:25, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
A new Dragon Ball attack list
I should let ya know too. Whenever you can, please see Talk:List of Dragon Ball special abilities#Garlic Gun. If you see that Garlic Gun there, that is just a sample of how the techniques should be classified and titled. I am going to change all of the techniques on the list (except Kamehameha, Dodonpa, Genki Dama, Kaio Ken and any others that were used as romaji names in the English manga/anime) into their literal English translation in about five days from now. This change will be similar as to how Bardock was changed to Burdock (name pun) and Hercule to Mr. Satan (which was his original Japanese/romaji name). Please comment on anything else if you have something you may want to add on to it. Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball) 22:59, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
About Goku's height.
Hello, my name is Charles and I would like to ask you about Goku's height. I saw your opinion well at the "Talk:Son Goku (Dragon Ball)" site. I also want to believe Goku's height is about 170cm(5'7") as the Daizenshuu says. However, I found an interesting material saying his height is 175cm. I wouldn't think highly of this if this claim is on a private site, but this fact that Goku's height is 175cm is on a Japanese wikipedia page. Because Japan is where Dragonball series were born, I carefully propose that Goku's height could actually be 175cm as the Japanese wikipeia page says. If his height is really 5'7" as the Daizenshuu states, I would like you to prove that 5'7" is height of not 'growing' Goku, but 'fully-grown' Goku, and retort the content on the Japanese wikipedia page that Goku's height is 175cm. Here's the site that insists Goku's height is 175cm. [2] --Hilight 06:18, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, first off: Is there even an English translated daizenshu out yet? Second, I thought there was only a French and German translated Daiz' besides the Japanese. As for the height, I would definitely go with what the Japanese wiki has for the Dragon Ball chracters, just as a reference for now. I wouldn't know how to get Daiz' scans, you'll have to ask Folken de Fanel since he's the only person I know of that actually has the guidebooks. Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:25, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Go with the Japanese wiki for now. To tell ya the truth, I'm not particularly interested in the DB characters heights at the moment enough to research about it. By the way, I reported that idiot Jrapidfire to WP:ANI for making continuous personal attacks and profane remarks to DesireCampell, you, 3bulletproof, etc. Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:43, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta
I don't see why you undid my edit and just gave me a "No." reply. There's sufficient evidence that Vegeta could already turn Super Saiyan 2 before he fell to the Majin spell. When SS2 Gohan and Dabura were fighting, and Gohan was losing, he said, with complete confidence, that he would step in and wipe the floor with Dabura. Not only that, but when he sees Goku turn SS2 against Yakon, he calmly says "So you too have ascended, Kakarot." There's really no reason to believe he couldn't. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Melee Ace (talk • contribs) 14:40, 18 February 2007 (UTC).
Dragonball Wiki
- Hi there. I noticed you're a member of Wikiproject Dragonball, and I'm trying to recruit some people from that to contribute to the Dragon Ball Wiki. It's in terrible shape right now with pretty much no consistency or policies, and only this week have I been able to get Angela and Sannse to create some Forums for us over there. I've got a proposed Manual of Style going over there and would like some people to contribute to that to set up some policies and start making the wiki bigger, better, and more intelligible/consistent. If you're interested, please hop on over or talk to me. Thanks for the time, whether you're interested or not. Wildyoda 02:24, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Bojack, Janemba and Tullece
I reverted the articles back to their original state. Nemu redirected them without a reason. Can you also tell him to not redirect the pages to the lists'? It would help for another person's opinion. Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball) 04:17, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response. I think you should tell Deskana about Nemu's behavior. He can't redirect pages without discussing it first. If you don't wanna report him, I will... Power level (Dragon Ball) 19:47, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- I added a comment to Deskana regarding Nemu's behaviour. He should be dealt with seriousness. Power level (Dragon Ball) 20:12, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Devil May Cry...
Would be awesome, I've been thinking the same thing, but have no idea how to go about it (or who could be recruited). Count me in of course. I've been at it semi-seriously since last November, and there've been a few other editors on the pages come and go. In the interest of full disclosure, the main reason I've been so active is I've been working as a contractor at a job that has me idle at a computer most days. That's ending in two weeks, and I don't know how active I'll be after that. But barring some major life-changing event, I'll still be checking in from home at the very least on weekends. Hanyo? not really...
I'll just remove the Hanyo link. Dante's a cross-cultural idea anyhow: A distinctly American character based on a Renaissance Italian poet by a Japanese creative team, created to appeal equally to eastern and western tastes and theologies. But Sparda and Mundus are most closely related to Judeo-Christian-Muslim ideas of the supernatural, even if there appears to be no Heaven in the "Sparda Universe." --Boradis 04:32, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Don't think there needs to be a page on half-demons, as the rules for them varies from work to work. Also, the Temen-ni-Gru's role in DMC3 was closer to that of Purgatory , the mountain that linked Earth with Heaven (Paradiso) in The Divine Comedy. Didja notice that the demon world of DMC3 looked an awful lot like Christian heaven? I don't think there is an actual Heaven in the Sparda Universe, just the human world and the demon world. --Boradis 04:49, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey there. Good job on fixin' up some of the article and moving it to its' right place. Then again, it got me thinkin' - wouldn't the characters (such as Janemba, Majin Buu, Babidi, Garlic Jr., etc.,) be considered deities 'cause age doesn't effect them? I'll discuss more later. Also, in case you didn't know, all of the characters have to be listed in alphabetical order, but don't worry 'bout doing it anytime soon though. I'll do it later. K? Regards - Power level (Dragon Ball) 06:31, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, not sure about Babidi and Garlic Jr. but Buu and Janemba are demons, I know about the order but the whole page was already out of order before so I putted them in by relation to each other (see how all the majins are together), see you around. -Dark Dragon Flame 18:02, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Why did you do that?
You can't just remove the no source tag without replacing it. - A Link to the Past (talk) 01:31, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
I didn't realize it was you who added the tag, I thought the bot was malfuntioning again so I reverted his work, but feel free to add it back. -Dark Dragon Flame 18:27, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Bot removing images without reason, again
This bot has been removing images that have been uploaded by the creator for the simple reason that he states that they have no source, now I won't say the bot is a piece of crap (although it is) but this is becoming really anoying. -Dark Dragon Flame 19:15, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Any messages from The Hybrid will be here
At the moment, I don't think that it is quite ready to be a GA even with references, but it is close. There are a large number of grammar mistakes throughout the article, as well as image policy violations. There is also a thing with the signature moves that almost no one knows about. The section has to be altered before an FA, so I’ll go ahead and do it before the GA. I don't have time right now, as my niece is having her third birthday party today :), but when I get a chance I will go through and personally fix this stuff. I have never helped to raise an article to GA or FA status, but I think that it is about time for me to do that. I'll be seeing this one through to the end. Peace, -- The Hybrid 19:36, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
I'll get heavily involved in improving the article tomorrow. To see the sig moves thing, see the article on Konnan. You'll have to look for them in the article. The true nature of the relationship between Ockenbock and Big Boss 0 is something that only he knows. However, removing any messages from him is something that supports my personal cause, so go for it. Just so you know, Big Boss 0 has many hidden motives and personal goals on this site, so you should probably avoid him as much as possible. If he sends you a message, do not respond. He will attempt to use you. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. To sum it all up, he is a callous narcissist who will do anything to anyone if it benefits him in any way. Not someone who makes a good friend. -- The Hybrid 04:00, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
You're generally doing a good job. Most of the problems are easy to miss. I'll deal with them tomorrow. Peace, -- The Hybrid 04:22, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
The moves are in a table floating in the body of the article. They aren't in their own section. Peace, -- The Hybrid 04:38, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

How that one person can argue that The Rock is not black is beyond me. I sincerely thank you for your comment, but it's like arguing with a brick wall. The DMC article doesn't look bad. I'm planning on doing a rewrite of the plot section, now that I've got my hands on the script to DMC. AIV Report
Thank you for making a report about Mr Rubino (talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! - Alison☺ 04:50, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't ask for block just a warning of someone that he would listen to.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Dark Dragon Flame (talk • contribs)
- Well, WP:AIV wasn't really the place. If someone vandalises something, correct it, warn them and move on. If you end up in a dialogue like that, it benefits nobody. Use WP:AIV if they've repeatedly vandalised past reasonable warning. This person hadn't; instead, they'd just toyed with you on their talk page. Far as I can see, the majority of their edits up until then had been reasonable - Alison☺ 04:56, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Devil May Cry good article nomination
Hi DDF. Thanks and I appreciate your opinion of me. While I have edited a few articles, I have never actually judged good or featured article candidates, so I should only offer suggestions rather than actually pass judgement on an article. The article is well-cited and looks to have enough detail for a good article. The text still seems a little "rough" and could use a bit of a cleanup. If you don't mind a bit of a wait, I'd be happy to take a longer look at it to clean up the language a little. Hope this was useful, Deathphoenix ʕ 04:37, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

21st Century Game Design
Here are the excerpts I promised:
"Extreme Combat
Nucleating game: Devil May Cry (Capcom, 2001)
Not a generally accepted genre (for example, Devil May Cry is most usually associated with the survival horror genre, for apparently no reason other than its reputation as having once been intended as a Resident Evil game by creators Capcom), the term has been invented to apply to a number of similar games that belong in ancestry in part to 2D platform games and in part to fighting games.
... in DMC, Dante may launch himself into the air and then keep himself aloft by shooting rapidly at a foe beneath him. Key to this genre, attacks lock onto the enemies, making sure the stylish attacks do not go astray. Finally, combo attacks, or something method of chaining for points of style, provide reward for finesse.
Games such as the remake of Shinobi (Overworks, 2002) and its sequel Nightshade (WOW Entertainment, 2004), Otogi: Myth of Demons (From Software, 2003), and Legacy of Kain: Defiance (Crystal Dynamics, 2003) all feature aspects of style, auto-aimed attacks, and chain or combo potential."
Hope this helps. JimmyBlackwing 20:55, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

- It's kinda accurate, but it was pretty clearly put together in a rush by someone just listening and not reading the captions. Maybe I'm a hardass from working in news, but there are lines that I misheard too, but were cleared up when I re-read the in-game captions. Check here. --Boradis 05:21, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
DMC Review Table
It's mainly a style concern, not an actionable concern. There are plenty of other FA video game articles without the review table, for example. Cheers, Lankybugger ○ Yell ○ 20:16, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'll also swing by Deckiller's page and ask him to have a quick look at the DMC article. Cheers, Lankybugger ○ Yell ○ 20:26, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Negative refs
I thought there should be a line before posting them like: Some aspects of the game are negatively reffered to even by reviewers that gave the game a good score for example:
Electric playground-
“Questionable button placement and no controller configuration options”
Gamespot-
“The final stages, although still quite entertaining, also produce the game's few failings. Without giving away the ending, it's safe to say that the game loses its direction, branching into a variety of different genres, some quite unnecessary. The game's final sequence almost feels forced and artificial, as it strays from the game's general course. Also, despite the drawn-out conclusion, Devil May Cry's difficulty level reaches a plateau near the end and isn't nearly as challenging as it could have been”.
Gamespy–
“Camera with a mind of its own; big learning curve with the "new" control scheme. Bits of flickering and jaggyness.”
Gamecritics.com
“While the narrative builds suspense effectively, the game is ultimately too short and the characters are left too shallow to give the game the emotional impact it could have delivered.”
DMC gameplay rewritten
I didn't start from scratch, but it's probably about 60-70 percent new. I'm on a roll, so I'll try tackling Reception and Plot as well. --Boradis 05:34, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Run-on sentences are sentences that have more thana one subject, etc, and just seem to go on. An example "Hi my name is mike how are you good i hope." You would split it up into "Hi, my name is Mike. Take a run at the RFA
In fact, I'm willing to nominate you myself. You've got a good history of WP:AIV and other noticeboard incidents. The only foreseeable problems might be the lack of Wikipedia-space edits, but that's a matter of personal taste. If you want me to go ahead and perform the nom, I'll take care of it ASAP. As regards the Vergil and Sparda articles... Sparda could be merged, Vergil probably not. Vergil has a large presence in the DMC3 Manga and it's likely that Capcom is going to include him in DMC4 somehow, based of fan reaction. Sparda, on the other hand, is unlikely to recieve a lot of major attention. Cheers, Lankybugger ○ Yell ○ 03:48, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Just to let you know...
You don't need to quote the individual lines for the plot summary of the Devil May Cry 3 manga. Quoting those lines is necessary in the games due to the fact that there's no point of reference for the reader to jump to to verify the statements made. You can't load up Devil May Cry and just jump to the ending, or the third fight with Nelo Angelo. You can simply reference the work like I'm doing in Devil May Cry (novels), which I based off the referencing in Starship Troopers, a featured article.
I'm just mentioning it to save you a bunch of work. I know just how annoying it is to type up the dialogue for each reference. Cheers, Lankybugger ○ Yell ○ 17:34, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Nah, just go ahead and do it. I'm pretty sure about half the people listed as members of our task force aren't paying attention (KrytenKoro, for example, hasn't even touched a Devil May Cry article. Ever.), and I don't think Boradis or Alex will have any objections. I was going to do it myself before being distracted by a tinfoil ball. Cheers, Lankybugger ○ Yell ○ 19:59, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Problem
I've got real issues with how the peer review for the Dante page has been handled. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a peer review is supposed to be about bringing in multiple other editors to give insight and suggestions, which are then addressed on a case-by-case basis. What's been happening on Dante though is that a grand total of one guy has weighed in and everything he's suggested has been done. If it was as easy as getting one person to call all the shots, there would be no need for a peer review. Additionally, every suggestion he's made has been carried out with no discussion, he just points to a line, says "cruft" and *poink* it's deleted. I've already made some objections to a few points in guns (which I'd like to restore the way it was, Colt references and all), but I see it's through the whole page. I'd like to pause this peer review unless and until more editors show up so there can be actual discussion on what constitutes "cruft" "relevant" and "reliable." --Boradis 16:20, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- My problem was with how the suggestions were handled, with parts getting cut out without discussion. Not the suggestions themselves. --Boradis 00:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

BTW, that article is VERY long, so it might not be complete to Thursday or Friday, but I'll have a stab at it anyway. If you see any WWE-related articles in very bad shape (don't give me WCW articles I hated that company!!!), put it at the bottom of my references page, with it signposted, and I'll do it if I have a moment or two depending on the size of the article.
Thanks for the appreciation on the Carlito article!! Neldav 16:10, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Problem: Just noticed Undertaker's article is fully protected until June 13th. Me (having only been a Wikipedian for only a week) cannot edit the article until the protection tag has come off. The user in question is someone called Yamla if you want to speak to her about it. Sorry about that; nothing much I can do. Neldav 16:25, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, I didn't want to leave a note myself, with me being a new guy, I didn't want him to take it the wrong way. Thanks, again! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Neldav (talk • contribs) 16:37, 1 May 2007 (UTC).
- Nope, I don't do TNA articles, however if a wrestler has competed in both WWE and TNA (Kurt Angle for example), I would do all the WWE part. I don't do the TNA or WCW parts is mainly because, I never have really watched TNA or WCW episoders, whereas with WWE, I've watched virtually every episode of RAW and SD! since 2003. - Undertaker should pass GA now; I've reffed most of it (154 references I think in total!!!) Neldav 19:59, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Someone's trying to remove the references [4] Neldav 20:13, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Can we pass the article through to GA now or will it have to be re-reviewed? Neldav 20:56, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Martyr A.D.
Hey, I'm trying to find info for a band named Martyr A.D. so I can make a page for them, but can't find anything. I know they were formed in Minneapolis, MN, released 2 CD's, support PETA, and recently broke up. That's all I got. So if you wanna help me out, just send me the info (if you find it) and I'll make the page. It's up to you, but I would really appreciate it. Much Thanks From Your Adoptee, Indie -0 15:26, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for the help! I do need a favor, though. Can you put in that pic of them for me? I tried but just a link came up and then someone took it out. Thanks again, Indie -0 14:58, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, I'm having a lot of trouble with the background information box. But other than that, I think it looks okay. If I could figure out how to put in a discography thingy it would be much better. Thanks for all of your help, Indie -0 15:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Sure, I'll help you, but my time will be a little limited. I just returned from an 8 day tour of the east coast (US) and will be heading out soon to Georgia and PR on some Medal of Honor activities. I looked at the article and I think that the following may need some work: 1. Citations, there are a lot of places that need them. You can borrow some citations about the attacks on San Juan from the article which I wrote Military history of Puerto Rico
2. The Dupont Plaza fire should not be in the Geography section. The mention of Hato Rey, Rio Piedras and Sanrurce should be in their own sub-divisons section. As a matter of the Geography section should only cover the general aspects of the islands geography.
3. The Diplomacy section would look nicer with a table.
I know that with a little work the article could go all the way to FA. Tony the Marine 03:13, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
