If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joseph Marinaccio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:33, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cards1477, I thought that when I checked the article the references were basically the same as in the deleted version. However, it's possible that I was too hasty, so I will compare the deleted version and your new version again more carefully in the next couple of days. I had time to look at the draft version of the article, and I was correct in my earlier assessment that the "new" version doesn't fix any of the problems that were addressed in the AfD discussion. None of the sources in that article establish notability. Press releases are generally not reliable, but even when they are, are not independent. All of the info on Slamcontent is, of course, not independent. The Crunchbase page was also written by Marinaccio. Neither trueknowledge nor therichest are reliable sources, but, even if they were, only demonstrate when he was born and his monetary assets, not any evidence of notability. The last two refs are blogs, and blogs are almost never reliable sources. Until such time as Marinaccio has been discussed in detail in multiple, independent, reliable sources, he cannot have an article on Wikipedia. If you're interested in working on this article, please make a copy of the draft in your userspace; in a few days, I'm going to ask for it to be deleted. Please let me know if you have any questions.
