License tagging for File:Chwarae-teg-logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Chwarae-teg-logo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Draft framework 27.05.2016
[edit]Notes:
Replace current logo with a higher resolution for display and for allowing others to reuse. This will be the official ((R)) version. Hi-res, PNG.
Notes:
aim - to reflect the extensive range of activities done to date and current, and to reflect the breadth of activities over the 24 years. To contribute to improving the value of the article in terms of information for learning, education, business cross-reference. Also to make the article worthy of 1st ranking page (for related search phrase) in search in terms of value and relevancy of content reflective of past and present.
Notes:
These notes are not formatted according to Wikipedia's convention. Just raw text/custom markers.
Notes:
"Currently" as in current activity which will become historical when it no longer applies to the current year (Jan - Jan).
Notes:
Since the current is arguably more relevant, then it's order should be top?
Notes:
Requirement. The ‘Historical’ contains both founding and activity. Both ‘Historical’ and ‘Activity’ are ordered according to the same headings, Projects, Research, Events... thus providing a consistent framework for updating and for reference. The founding is general information (who, when, why) – thought the founding was based on a Project (what). Example:
- Historical (Founding) (1992 - 2015)
- Project connected to Founding
- Project(Year...)
- Research(Year...)
- Current Activity ((Start date if continual activity)- 2016)
- Project(Year...)
- Research(Year...)
Notes:
Commercial activity (fund raising). The only form of commercial activity is via the ‘Supporters’, officially ‘CT Supporter’ service, where 3rd parties pay a fee as in a membership-fee, in return the 3rd party receives discounts to events organized by CT, and exclusive (paid for by virtue of them being a Sponsor) content. Notes: Question: is it appropriate to use Wikipedia's platform to host our own (as in copyright owner) photographic/graphic content, i.e. like Flickr?

=============================
[edit]Intro:
Chwarae Teg (+Welsh+ for "Fair Play") is a United Kingdom based charity working in Wales to support the economic development of women,[!] as well as working with businesses and organizations to develop and improve modern working practices.[REF #1]
Contents:
1 - History (make more detailed chronological given it's been established for 24 years with a degree of heritage and association)
1.1 - Founded/Established (1992) 1.2 - Projects (Chronological, consistent volume of description, Title, Year, REFs), apply to all 1.3 - Research
2 - Activities (Current (2016), not historical)
2.1 - Projects 2.2 - Research 2.3 - Events
3 - Awards (RECEIVED BY OTHERS)
4 - Trustees (order alphabetically)
5 - Former Chief Executives (replace Past, as its adjective is not strictly accurate in terms of denotation/connotation. No longer here, but still present, Former is the traditional form for those who no longer occupy a position for whatever reason.)
NOTE: Title Case Contents Headings (? Exception according to article History)
6 - Past (C)chairs (refer to History as current being correct) (order alphabetically)
7 - References (In order to aid in the action of reference and research and verification, REFs to be directed to the official website as ultimate source of accurate information, rather than to Press.) (In cases where items listed contain reference to 3rd party information or research that's pertinent and relevant to the Project/Research... then reference accordingly, E.G. research or project partnerships) (This part can't be exacted during this early phase of article review, but generally REFs will contain official web pages/info from CT's main website.)
8 - External Links (The current version represents a period of transition for CT in respect of our web presence and domain names. All listed currently are correct and will remain except for 'New CT website', which is no longer 'new', strictly speaking. Some work undertaken by CT is done in partnership with Welsh Government which, if listed in activities, should appear here for reference.
END.
Comments
[edit]- You will need to make sure that the logo works under Wikipedia's intellectual property policies. If it is simple you can upload it to Commons, as US law does not allow copyright in simple arrangements of text or geometric figures. Otherwise it will be either a WP:Fair use exemption, in which case it needs to be relatively low res, or it needs to released under CC BY-SA which will require a WP:OTRS procedure.
- The article should be written as an encyclopaedic article. Please leave ranking to the search engines - Wikipedia pages tend to do well, and should not be SEO'd.
- Section headings are always in sentence case on Wikipedia. See WP:MoS for more about our house style.
- References to CT's own materials are suitable for many things, but third party references are preferable. It is quite in order to provide both. See WP:RS for what constitutes a reliable source, and WP:PRIMARY for some additional guidance.
- Awards made: if this is significant it is good content - I would suggest that awards that receive press coverage could be included. I would be wary if this section dominates the article. The same applies to projects. Due weight should be given to the various aspects.
- Any images uploaded will need to be under a suitable license, so that they can be re-used and derivative works made. If you have a significant number of images you can get help uploading them to Commons.

[edit]Rich Farmbrough Thanks for your help Rich. It will focus my view. And for all the references to WP policy and guides. I'll study all of them. Interesting. Different experiences compared to using social media, of course.
On the point about SEO, sorry - I should explain. My intention is not at all to try to SEO the Article. What I meant to say was - since the Article appears on the 1st page for org. name search query, we think it's necessary to ensure that the content meets the target audiences expectations in terms of appropriate depth and breadth and detail of information.
As such I don't intend, by contributing, to create an Article of many hundreds of words. Rather I imagine it being brief, succinct, with just the necessary detail for the reader to be able to gain a general insight into research, or into project.
Thanks Rich. Very much.
Kindest
