Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. While you personally may be sure your edits are fact, perhaps because you have first hand knowledge, I'm afraid that counts as original research and thus is not acceptable, particularly if you are removing sourced content. Find sources and then try again. Wwwhatsup (talk) 20:57, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry going to have to find specific sources to back up those edits. Please read my earlier comments and wikipedia policy above. Wwwhatsup (talk) 09:44, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see you have again made the edits without responding to my comments. I would respectfully refer you to the section of Wikipedia policy regarding edit wars. In essence, if you have a dispute, rather than just repeating the same edit, you should discuss on the article's talk page and achieve consensus. I'm not going to revert you for a third time, but I am going to ask some other editors to join the discussion there. Wwwhatsup (talk) 18:53, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you are receiving regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Rodhullandemu 19:04, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing, for a period of 31 hours, for vandalism, persistent removal of sourced material.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Emailed response:

What you have to do is respond on the article's talk page, or on your own user page. You were ignoring all efforts to communicate which is how come you are blocked, but that's only temporary, to give you some time to perhaps educate yourself on Wikipedia process. Please don't be discouraged - just get in there and learn the ropes.

Moreover, as I've stated, I can back up all that I say with The New York Times, The Village Voice,Spin ,The Aquarian ,Interview ,New York Magazine ,CNN,Timeout Magazine,Newsweek, I just didn't know how to insert these refs in my edits and before I could figure it out being a newcomer i was blocked from editing. Again, what I wrote, is the truth, unlike the crap others have purported. I have no interest in making up stories to inflate the past.If you guys are really reputable, you will help me amend the past as it really was.

Emailed response:

I am saying that I remember working Chris Williamson shows at The Ritz, and I did every single show he did there. I do not recall ever working with him at Irving. That's not to say it isn't true - my memory is not reliable, that's why what matters is reliable sources. And not just reliable but verifiable. Just mentioning the names of publications doesn't cut it, you've got to come up with date / author etc.. Your block will be over later tomorrow. If you have references but don't know how to cite you can put them there in the talk page and more experienced editors will work it out. But if you just insert unreferenced material in the article and it is challenged it won't stand.
