Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. I see you have translated a number of German railway-related articles and would like to draw your attention to our German railway project. Please feel free to add your name to the list of contributors and have a browse around the project area.

Sandboxes
Hi, I like the article on the Thumer Netz - nice work! May I suggest a tip which I have found useful? If you are building an article in stages (as I often do), it's useful to create a sandbox (such as User talk:Captndelta/Sandbox) and build the article in there. When it's ready to go you just create the new article page and cut and paste to it. Hey presto! It appears like magic! It saves others fiddling around or adding speedy deletion tags while you're still working on it and shortens the history. Just an idea. Keep up the good work. - Hi Bermicourt, I normally try to use that sandbox approach (i.e. for the Fichtelbergbahn, see User:Captndelta#Sandbox), however when I'm not entirely certain I can stay on an article for long enough to finish it up, (as was with the Thumer Netz), I prefer to "add as I go", even tho that might look slightly sloppy. At the beginning of the Thumer Netz article, I thought I might just be able to do a quick stub (I was doing the Thum article then), well then I wound up having enough time to finish it, even though I was never sure. With that, I wouldn't want to hold at least that starting point hostage.
- BTW, I got a list of articles on my user page that I thinking about taking on, since I'm from the area (and got to see some/most of them when they were actually running), got a good chunk of images that I took (and need to upload), and got most of the literature, too. I read somewhere that you're interested in the Bavaria railways, and User:JanSuchy is interested in the rail stuff around the area too. Between you, him and me, we ought to be able to get some of the South-German stuff knocked out, we probably should just coordinate a wee bit, as to not step on each other. Also, we probably should try to close on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Trains/Rail transport in Germany task force/Conventions.
- Btw, the trains of the Thumer Netz almost killed me twice, I saw the last pieces of it disappear, and I remember everyone being barking mad at that. To the people in the area, that railway brought some modest prosperity (and thats what they associated the Bimmelbah' with), and then it was taken away...
