Capybara

[edit]

Your recent edit to Capybara (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. You have been identified as a new user or a logged out editor using a hosting or shared IP address to add email addresses, phone numbers, YouTube, Geocities, Myspace, Facebook, blog, forum, or other such free-hosting website links to a non-talk page. Please note that such links are generally to be avoided. You can restore any other content by editing the page and re-adding that content. The links can be reviewed and restored by established users. Thank you for contributing! // VoABot II 02:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Heya, Caplin! I just wanted to expand on the automated message from our friend the bot. (I hate bots generally...) Anyway, the edit you made was obviously made in Good Faith and I appreciate your wanting to contribute to the Capybara article. While the MySpace link is not appropriate for the article itself, I thought that your photo was very good (photographically: good color, contrast, and angle) and I have added it back to the page as the first photo in the gallery. If you upload/release more photos onto Wikipedia, I'd add them to the gallery as well. Meanwhile, I recommend that you check out some of Wikipedia's editing guidelines or, if it would be easier, see my userpage and check out some of the links under Common WikiPolicies, as these will help you tremendously as you learn more about Wiki and edit more and more. Hopefully, it will also save you some of the frustration and angst that most new users feel (and I felt a lot) sometimes. If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to ask or comment on my talk page or, if they are specific to the Capybara article, on that article's talk page. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for contibuting! VigilancePrime 02:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wassup?

[edit]

What's up, Caplin? I was telling a friend about you the other day... she got the ROUS reference almost instantly. It took her a moment to remember where it was from. Anyway, hope to see you around the Capybara article some more sometime. In fact, if you have time and desire, check out other pages for fun too... like Oozlefinch, Moolack Beach, and Medic. Hope all's well in your fields! VigilancePrime (talk) 08:25, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
