Your username
[edit]Just ftr, this wasn't me. I've seen stronger cases for username conflicts reported to UAA that were declined, and given the circumstances, (including that you haven't edited since the above notice), I'm kinda' surprised at this block, but every admin is different. Anyway, this block isn't punitive, or meant to reflect a problem with your editing, it's just to ensure you change your username. You can try appealing, or just go through with the name change and you will be able to resume editing immediately after. Welcome to Wikipedia. - wolf 00:04, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks. I requested to change it to "capital" something. I already lost access to one account from a decade ago. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Capital013 (talk • contribs) 14:55, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

[edit]If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.
Thank you. Orange Mike | Talk 17:59, 13 June 2021 (UTC)What personal attack? What are you refering to?

Capital013 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
The block is unreasonable. Wiki let me create a username. I did. Someone said the username may cause issues, so I changed my username. Problem solved. I did everything asked. Capital013 (talk) 19:45, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Now that you have made a request without personal attacks, I will remove the block. I might suggest that you read WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL. 331dot (talk) 20:04, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Improving National Capital Wing Civil Air Patrol
[edit]I undid your edits because they changed the article too much. Please look at a random batch of articles and notice how we format things. We start with the basics: the National Capital Wing Civil Air Patrol is a wing [what's that?] of the Civil Air Patrol [what's that?]. Then you can get into details about what makes them different, in composition and goals, from other units. But remember: we don't care what the CAP says about them, we care what other sources say about them. Have they been criticized? Where's the criticism? Do we have published data? Where's the data? Believe it or not, all of us are here to help you make a better article within the constraints of what we do here. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:31, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- Most of the information is now factually wrong, including the stats. --Capital013 (talk) 20:47, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- Looking at your edits, it's not clear to me why your unblock request (from a name change block) was denied for "personal attacks", but maybe I missed something. But, as I also mentioned before, every admin is different, so keep that in mind as well. The block is lifted now, so hopefully you'll resume editing (as opposed to "retiring"). About your concerns for the National Capital Wing Civil Air Patrol article, there are options for addressing them. You can start on the article talk page. Post your concerns, and notify the editor you wish to discuss your concerns with. If you don't get a response, or can't reach an agreement, you can try posting at the WikiProjects that oversee that article: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Civil Air Patrol and/or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history. And finally, you can try Wikipedia: Dispute Resolution. All in all, you should be able to bring that article to an acceptable state. If you have any questions, you can contact the Help Desk. Good luck - wolf 03:25, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
