Jimbaran

[edit]

Havequestioned cdc on his talk page about jimbaran edit, as I am concerned if locations get the Suharto/Indonesian Civil War treatment we will be creating entries that will read like they are of peru and not indonesia. IMHO. Oh well SatuSuro 08:31, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gambir station

[edit]

Tks for clean-up. I'm not the Indonesiaphile in the family - my wife is, having lived there for 10 years - but I have a soft spot for Bukittinggi. Grusl 10:56, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. My wife is Indonesian too, but I'm the one with the Indonesia fascination :-) (Caniago 12:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Culture of Indonesia

[edit]

Terima Kasih Banyak! You have been busy! Thanks for the great improvement and enlargement of this page. I'll do my best to fill in some of the gaps, hope others will join in. --Bwmodular 10:09, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kembali kasih. I think this is possibly the Indonesian page in most need of attention currently, so all help is appreciated. (Caniago 12:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Tourism in Indonesia

[edit]

Your point about this article is spot on. Please also note that I am trying to encourage a yogya article split - one for the province, and a separate for the city. Don't know if you are interested in helping? SatuSuro 03:49, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm all for the Yogya split. I was thinking about doing it myself recently, but haven't had the time. (Caniago 12:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Tourism in Indonesia

[edit]

Hey how are you going? Your concern about the article (Tourism in Indonesia) has somewhat made it as an Indonesian collaboration of the week's article. Probably you could join the improvement or just comment on the improvement that has been done. Take care, cheers -- Imoeng 21:02, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Michael how are you going? Just want you to know, I really hope that you can join the Indonesian project soon. Cause you seem like a very interested in Indonesian related articles. Cheers -- Imoeng 07:52, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesia topics template

[edit]

Hi there how are you? I see you have reverted that article, the Template:Indonesia topics page. From the way I see it, and honestly, I think my template is better, since it has no red link whatsoever. Moreover, the content is more than the current template. So, I just want to ask the reason why did you revert it. Well, I'm not saying I don't like it, but, umm, well, I just want to know it. Cheers -- Imoeng 10:24, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well yeah, you are absolutely right and I do agree. When I changed the template, the red links came in mind. In addition, I reckon the "Life in Indonesia" template is like, more general, and provides easy links for users. And actually, that template is for the portal, which I created by portal commentators' request. So, now we just have to make the red links become blue. Cheers for replying -- Imoeng 09:06, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do NOT label every edit as minor

[edit]

I have seen you make major edits lately that you have labeled as minor. Stop doing this. --- 71.67.132.178 19:48, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have no interest or time to take any notice of comments from anonymous cowards. Find something better to do with your time. (Caniago 00:41, 14 September 2006 (UTC))[reply]
lol - nicely put Michael. Keep up your great edits!! --Merbabu 03:13, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Respond

[edit]

Hi Michael, how are you? Yes I am back to business although I'm a bit lazy now, haahha, but sure it'll gone soon. I'll take a look at these pages and I'll get back to you ASAP. Thanks for letting me know -- Imoeng 10:20, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, you are right, except I don't agree with the "(province)" thing :P. It is true that there are many other meanings. However, I do agree we need to work on the disambiguation page. In my opinion, the provinces should be prioritised as they have more general context, compared to the cities. But, in case of Jambi, there are other articles not related to Indonesia, thus we need to ask for "permission" (not for the name, but for the disambiguation page thingy. Please give me answer. Cheers -- Imoeng 10:29, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, that is what we need. In case of that, I shall change my vote. Cheers -- Imoeng 11:09, 26 September 2006 (UTC) Oh, is there any page where we can see the procedure of changing categories and stuff? Thanks[reply]

Yogyakarta

[edit]

Done! :D But again, I reckon don't delete the (special region). Though I agree about the page moving and disambiguation deletion. Thanks for letting me know -- Imoeng 00:19, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Michael, Tobias is continuing on his merry way - maybe an admin needs to step in. Now changing regencies around. Check out is contribs [1] (PS, i hope I had permission to use your talk page - lol) --Merbabu 06:06, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't think of another user who has not yet been banned who is so consistently disruptive to both community and project. I dislike witchhunts but when and if you decide to file on this user, please ask for my help. John Reid 07:19, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History on Indonesia

[edit]

Hi there. Recently I've examined History of Indonesia and found that (some of) the info on Indonesia about history cannot be found there. So, it is strange because the more general page has more information. In case of that, I suggest we move (really really move, like cut and paste) Reformasi and New Order, also some other things, if appropriate to History of Indonesia and start the History section from scratch, by summarising History of Indonesia. Whos with me? Cheers -- Imoeng 09:47, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thats good, cheers. But as always, I work (maybe we) on the article for the next week's candidate, ahahah. Cheers again -- Imoeng 09:53, 27 September 2006 (UTC) I'm going to open a discussion on the discussion page.[reply]

Regencies & cities of Indonesia

[edit]

Hi there, what do you make of this: A proposal: topics_notice_board#Regencies.2C_Cities.2C_and_Provinces_Name And it's partial implementation: [2] All those red links - does that mean we are going to see more moving of articles? --Merbabu 12:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesian history

[edit]

So, finally I've finished it, and I am sure it cannot get any shorter as the history is pretty complicated, especially during 1998 to 2004. And if you want to compare it with India or Australia, I think the size is the same, or maybe shorter, I don't know, :P. Please comment or fix my low quality English, people are not perfekt. :P Cheers -- Imoeng 13:53, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
