Setting custom widths in Template:Gallery

I have expanded Template:Gallery to allow setting a custom width on any image which seems too large in the gallery. The example that I used has reduced the size of image 4, the U.S. one-dollar bill (), by using "width4=170" so that image will fit better with the other images. I asked whether it was possible to create a table footer, but I don't recall discussing (or knowing about) the summary parameter until now. Attribute 'summary=' has non-visible text for screen readers

The "summary=" attribute of the table element makes this information available to people who use screen readers; the information is not displayed visually. A longer description of a table can be provided (beyond the title), via the summary attribute, for the benefit of people who use speech or Braille-based user agents.

For the vast majority of users, the "summary=" attribute is of little value, whereas a table-footer line could be viewed by them, or processed by a screen reader to inform each user about the table contents. -Wikid77 (talk) 13:15, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
