Ann Shivas
Ann is the granddaughter of the late John Shivas who had accomplished a very reputable athletic career.
Ann is born May 9th, 1985. She began her soccer career at a young age. She was noticed at the age of 16 when she went to play in England. Getting offers to play in the U.S.A. - Ann refused as she wanted to get a Canadian education. She began her soccer career at Brock University. She grew with the team to win the National Championship with Brock in 2008. During the summer months she competed with the Canadian seconds team. In 2008 and 2009 she played in Australia for Gold Coast Womens Soccer Team.
Coming back from Australia, Ann broke her leg and recovered to train with Philadelphia Independence. She then tore her ACL in August of 2010, and requires surgery. At the moment she is believed to be teaching Physical Eduction at an Elementary School in Ontario, Canada.
