Speedy deletion nomination of Talking about your generation
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Talking about your generation, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

Non-free rationale for File:Ava Caryofyllis 2023.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Ava Caryofyllis 2023.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 06:08, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Ava Caryofyllis 2023.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ava Caryofyllis 2023.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:04, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
AfC notification: Draft:Ava Caryofyllis has a new comment
[edit]- Hi there, thanks for reviewing the article. The DoB was retrieved from this source: https://www.thedailybiography.com/ava-caryofyllis/ However I wasn't sure where/how to appropriately include it in the article. Camsy34 (talk) 02:21, 8 November 2023 (UTC)

- Hi Tails, thank you for reviewing the article. I updated it to source the birthdate from here - https://www.thedailybiography.com/ava-caryofyllis/ however it was edited out by another user. As mentioned in the article comment, the referenced Filmink article would be considered significant coverage based on the description provided here - Wikipedia:What is significant coverage? addresses the topic directly and in detail, so that no original research is needed to extract the content. Please let me know what else is required to pass this criteria. Camsy34 (talk) 02:47, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- If you want User:Tails Wx to read this, you should probably ping them. There is no reason to assume they would be watching your page. Also, and this is why I left the warning below, it's time to step up. If you had read the edits carefully you would have seen that I said that it is NOT an acceptable source and that there is no reason to put the mother in the lead. I also mentioned that you should probably do references properly, with citation templates, instead of just dumping a URL and a title in the draft (and in that case, in the wrong place). You cannot expect your draft to be accepted if you only make the tiniest of changes and don't listen to what others are telling you, and at some point it's just going to stop. It's been declined at least five times, and you've had three years to learn how to make these edits and to see what an actual article should look like. Drmies (talk) 13:30, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies @Drmies, I assumed by clicking reply it would ping them. Clearly I'm not cut out for wikipedia so like you say, it's best I just stop. I've added at subst:draft-prod tag to the draft and I'll avoid making any other edits. Camsy34 (talk) 00:58, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- Most of us start by editing before we write articles, and so we learn how to do all these things. No one is not cut out for Wikipedia, but I think Wikipedia is not what you think it is. Drmies (talk) 01:07, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
