[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Politics of San Francisco, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 02:55, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- Yes I'm sorry, that's my bad. I thought hyperlinking to the election pages was suitable as a reference since they had the voter tabulations. Apologies. CaliIndie (talk) 06:40, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
AfD discussion for Andrew Cuomo sexual harassment allegations
[edit]Hey! Allow me to redirect you to WP:AFDHOWTO. It'll take you to a step-by-step process on how to properly file an AfD discussion. As someone who's filed multiple articles for deletion before, I have to say that your AfD for Andrew Cuomo sexual harassment allegations is faulty. Thank you! Love of Corey (talk) 02:42, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Love of Corey: Thank you but I don't think it'll be nessecary for this, it clearly isn't going to pass so I'm gonna have to figure out how to close it soon. If you can help me with that I'd appreciate it. CaliIndie (talk) 04:06, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know about filing formal closing procedures, but you can always add a comment saying you're giving up on the AfD, for transparency's sake. Love of Corey (talk) 04:08, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- I'll try to replicate similar closed AFDs and remove the deletion tag, hopefully that'll do. CaliIndie (talk) 04:11, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Salimfadhley (talk) 17:57, 7 March 2021 (UTC)DYK for New York COVID-19 nursing home scandal
[edit]On 17 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article New York COVID-19 nursing home scandal, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Governor Andrew Cuomo, who was initially praised for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York, is now implicated in a scandal related to it? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/New York COVID-19 nursing home scandal. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, New York COVID-19 nursing home scandal), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Political views of Tucker Carlson
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Political views of Tucker Carlson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://oregonherald.com/si/bio/?id=52. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Onel5969 TT me 15:02, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
