Welcome to my User Talk Page.

My Availability Information is on the right, if you have any urgent need but find that I'm expected to be inactive on Wikipedia, then please Email me. I will try to reply you within 48 hours. Thank You.

Hello, CX Zoom. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Jaipur–Mumbai Central Superfast Express murders".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 19:09, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Hoax articles"?

[edit]

Hello, CX Zoom,

You tagged a lot of Metro Station redirect pages as "Hoaxes" but no admin has touched them all day long and they didn't seem like obvious hoax articles to me so I untagged them. I suggest you do a bundled nomination at WP:RFD where you can present your argument that these are hoaxes along with some evidence that this is true. Speedy deletion is not a deletion process for ambiguity and it also isn't a form of deletion where you can include an explanation. These metro stations may not really exist, I don't know, but they aren't obviously fake. Liz Read! Talk! 06:01, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, thanks! CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 06:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

[edit]

Hi CX Zoom. Thank you for your work on Beleghata metro station. Another editor, SunDawn, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Good day! Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia by writing this article. I have marked the article as reviewed. Have a wonderful and blessed day for you and your family!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|SunDawn}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@SunDawn: Hey, thanks, but actual credit goes to Fguiollhb. I had only created a redirect at the title. Best, CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 16:59, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Oceania Aquatics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Matthew Dunn. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:08, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Important: Please update user script installation

[edit]

Hi there, you currently have a user script installed from Anne drew Andrew and Drew. Several weeks ago, I changed my username to Anne drew, and unfortunately, due to an issue with script redirects, the scripts you have installed under my old username no longer function.

To fix this, please update your JavaScript pages (Special:MyPage/common.js or Special:MyPage/skin.js) by replacing all instances of Anne drew Andrew and Drew with Anne drew.

If any of this is unclear, please ping Anne drew for help. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

Thanks – Anne drew

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:39, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Internal conflict in Peru

[edit]

Hello. Are you going to update lead, infobox and Wikidata? Eurohunter (talk) 14:56, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I will do it in some time. I am checking the diffs between the versions before the move war began to make the changes. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 15:01, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I made some immediate and obvious changes, but additional oversight on the infobox would help. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 15:17, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

DYK for FoodPharmer

[edit]

On 26 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article FoodPharmer, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a viral video by an Indian influencer (pictured) resulted in the sugar content of Bournvita being cut by almost 15 percent? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Revant Himatsingka. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, FoodPharmer), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

[edit]

Hey, I just wanted to bring up your closures at Talk:Disney Channel (United Kingdom and Ireland)#Requested move 13 December 2024 and Talk:Disney XD (United Kingdom and Ireland)#Requested move 13 December 2024; these probably should've been relisted to allow for further discussion.

In your closing comments, you cite "clear support". However, if you look at the rationale, you'll see that the nominator pinged another editor, specifically asking for the participation of somebody whom they knew would support their request based on their participation in a previous RM. This is a textbook case of WP:CANVASSING. Discounting that editor's canvassed participation, the request had only one other participant expressing support, and another one expressing oppose, so no consensus yet. RachelTensions (talk) 15:14, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@RachelTensions: Hi, I closed it on the basis of "clear support and precedence". However, I'm willing to vacate the close and relist it if you believe that further discussion was warranted. Thanks! CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 16:48, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
