[edit]Hi, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. If you work for the company, you are probably not the best person to write a neutral encyclopaedia article, but obviously that's up to you.
- As you correctly say, you need to avoid infringing copyright, so you can't copy a web page or do a close paraphrase (just changing the odd word), you need to write the page in your own words, otherwise the bots will find any copying
- Your article needs provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that the group meets the notability guidelines. You can't just rely on group sources.
- Watch for unintentional spam, eg steeped in centuries of insurance tradition needs an independent source. Even worse is puff like The Group prides itself on having not simply the expertise but also the experience, and the market personalities, to recognise and faithfully service the Group’s clients’ best interests. and The Group’s goal is unequivocal: to offer clients the full breadth and depth of expertise they have the right to expect of a first-class Lloyd’s Broker, but with the added benefit of the close personal attention that has long been Besso’s hallmark., pure spam.
Have a look at BAE Systems to see a top-class company article. I'm not suggesting that you need to write something like that, but it's the principles: neutrality, own words, proper references. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:07, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
