Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Johannes Kahrs (artist), seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! freshacconci talktalk 16:52, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional text

[edit]

I have deleted your userpage, as it was clearly and almost only promotional. It was also totally not in line with our manual and style. Also all the links that you added to mainspace have been reverted. We are writing an encyclopedia here, not collection of promotional material of organisations:

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:38, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Link additions

Those links additions are inappropriate, please see the extrnal links guideline, and various sections of 'What wikipedia is not'. Pleae stop adding them. You might instead want to try and get some references for the mainspace article (see the reliable sources guideline, Verifiability, etc.). Thank. --Dirk Beetstra T C 16:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. freshacconci talktalk 16:57, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

[edit]

this are NOT 'minor formatting changes', it is the removal of a reference. Please use correct edit summaries, and please stay neutral and do not edit in order to promote the Parasol unit. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:08, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And please, do read WP:CRYSTAL. Future should be properly, independently referenced, otherwise it is not notable enough to be mentioned. Could you also please read through the documents linked in the welcome template above .. thanks! --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:17, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please, DO read the policies and guidelines. E.g. a lede does NOT get a header .. please stop re-inserting such things. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:58, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Long (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
