Please note that the issue of including the "reunion" dates of 1994-95 in years active was discussed at length on the Talk page. The consensus was to not include those dates. My purpose in sending this message is not to argue the issue of dates; it's simply to inform you about the consensus. If you wish to change the dates, please raise the issue on Talk:The Beatles and wait to see if there is a change of consensus. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 21:15, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Pamela (TV series)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Pamela (TV series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Plrk (talk) 23:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Beatles, again

[edit]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to The Beatles. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Halloween 2

[edit]

Please read WP:NFF. The proposed sequel to Zombie's 2007 film is just that, a proposal. There is no actual film. As such, no page should be created for a film that does not exist. Secondly, "H2" is not a confirmed title, it's merely a name that appears on the teaser poster so one cannot assume that "H2" is going to be the title of the film (i.e. creating a page for "H2 (film)" should not occur unless they confirm that that is the title of the film...in which case it still should not be created until production actually begins on said sequel).  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 01:32, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-production is another name for "just coming up with ideas". WP:NFF is pretty clear. Unless the production itself is notable (and they have not entered into production), then we don't create a page until the film is released (I'm sure production will be covered in March, if that's when Zombie officially starts). As for "H2", other than the teaser poster (which is what I assume most people are using as the title), I don't believe Zombie, the Weinstein's or anyone else for that matter has confirmed what the title for the sequel will be.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 02:04, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of H2 (film)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article H2 (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for Image:Newhalloweensequel.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Newhalloweensequel.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 12:26, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Uncommon Productions

[edit]

Hello, CDaly,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Uncommon Productions should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Uncommon Productions .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, TRL (talk) 03:09, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Pretender: Rebirth, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Pretender (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
