[edit]

Hello, Butterbeanne. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Kunsthalle Detroit".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 12:00, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Andree Putman, Zaha Hadid, Tim White Sobieski, Marc Jacobs, Sylvie Fleury, Shigeru Ban and Bernard Arnault.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:21, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Andree Putman, Zaha Hadid, Tim White Sobieski, Marc Jacobs, Sylvie Fleury, Shigeru Ban and Bernard Arnault.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello

[edit]

I noticed that both of your new articles are up for deletion. Would you like some help? If you do, just write a message here, with @Jacqke at the beginning, and I should see it.Jacqke (talk) 10:19, 27 October 2015 (UTC) @Jacqke Thank you. I am taken aback by "nominations for deletion". What could be a problem?[reply]

Here's Wikipedia in a nutshell: people interested in making this encyclopedia reliable often do not communicate with new "editors" (I don't call myself that...I write more than I edit). It takes a lot less work to criticize someone's writing than to improve it. What should have happened is some messages at the top telling you that you need to add information (especially sources that speak to the info in the article). What happened is that an editor took the cheap route and decided to say that there are no good sources in existence for your topic, making it not "notable". The good news is that there are editors who can guide you through improving it, and once you understand what is wanted, you'll probably never have problems again. The most important thing to do right now is find sources such as books, news articles, magazines, art exhibits, museums that you can reference to show this artist is not someone just starting out, but is an established artist. Another thing to do right away is to frontload important details in the introduction...he's done x, y and z things, is important because of z.... Once you have some references, it is a matter of inserting them in the document, similarly to a school or academic paper. I can include some formatting if you need. Finally, after you make a change, put something about the change in the edit summary. You can type four ~ marks to sign comments you make on a talk page, like this Jacqke (talk) 16:42, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have a little time right now and am going to try to work some sources in as I find themJacqke (talk) 17:37, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I told you wrong. To get my attention, type Reply to|Jacqke with {{ }} around it. There is another user, Paulinapaulina3030 , interested in saving the article. Any any chance do you have books or magazines or something printed that had info on Mr White-Sobiesk or his art?Jacqke (talk) 18:48, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic edits at New Russian Word

[edit]

This is a PR/SEO site that has hijacked the domain and easily tracable back to a black-hat mareketing firm that has used the site abusively on Wikipedia. Please do not add any more material to that article unless you have rock-solid sources. A press release from that same firm is obviously not, nor is any other junk PR source. If you are having difficultly determining the status of a reliable source, please ask. Sam Kuru (talk) 18:39, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is no problem in stating the fact that the dormant business has been acquired by an alternate owner. The publication is striving to remain strong in digital format. The legal documents confirming the mentioned above acquisition are not required to be quoted in Wikipedia. Please stop your bullying behavior and do not reverse my edits. If not, I demand valid details to support your speculations. I am not aware of any black hat marketing, nor of a hijacked domain. Butterbeanne (talk) 02:15, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
