Hi Burtbakman. I received your email. The reason I deleted your article was that it was clearly not meant to be a valid encyclopedia entry. Wikipedia is not a free webhosting service. There are plenty of sites that will let you make "a funny write up for me and my friends to see", so I suggest you use one of those. If, on the other hand, you want to contribute towards the great enterprise of building an encyclopedia by collaborative editing then you are welcome to stay.
