Dying Fetus, Sepultura USA Tours
Hey, it's your friend URFG again. Do you know when these 2 bands are going on a USA tour, and are you fans of one or both? URFG 02:11, 24 May 2007 (UTC)URFG
2nd Hellyeah Album
It's been mentioned by the bandmates (and Blabbermouth.net) that Hellyeah plans on releasing a 2nd album, with Zilla, before 2007's conclusion. Should I go ahead and create an article for it, or wait until more info becomes availible?
I created a page for Slipknot's 4th studio album, and there's hardly any info out about it. I don't think it's been deleted yet, I'll go and check that out now.
By the way, thanks for the advice! It was just a few minor edits that I made.URFG 18:55, 17 May 2007 (UTC)URFG
Hellyeah template
Hello, my name is URFG. I've been checking the Hellyeah page almost everyday to find out who the new bassist is going to be. I was wondering, do you know how to edit the Hellyeah template at the bottom of the page? It doesn't appear to have the "edit" logo that almost all of the other bottom-page band templates have. If you know how to do it, then could you please leave me a message and fill me in? URFG 20:09, 16 May 2007 (UTC)URFG
So, are you a musician? I saw that your genre was heavy metal. I play the bass guitar and drums.

AfD nomination of Antisaint
An editor has nominated Antisaint, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Antisaint and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Lamb of God
Please don't change LoGs genre. It has been sourced many times as Groove Metal and Metalcore. Inhumer 23:33, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
No, because that was just a marketing term made up by their label. Inhumer 00:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
No, they're not. Inhumer 00:41, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm not saying they aren't metal, because they are. I'm just saying they aren't Traditional Heavy Metal. Inhumer 16:59, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
If you change it again, I'll see to it that you're blocked from editing. Inhumer 17:06, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Lamb of God (band), you will be blocked from editing.
You're right, I can't. I can however request that you be blocked by asking one. Inhumer 05:41, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- Vandalism warnings aren't for content disputes, you can't just label anything you disagree with as vandalism. Both of you need to calm down and discuss this. I've protected the article for the time being so you aren't tempted to just apply your change. --pgk 07:45, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
My only problem is that you're removing a genre that has been agreed upon by multiple editors and that has been TRIPLE SOURCED because you don't bands you like being called metalcore, which is weird because a number of the bands you like are metalcore. Inhumer 17:31, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, just because a band is metal, doesn't mean its Heavy metal. Inhumer 17:31, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Its not really what you think or I think or what any other editor thinks the genre should be, its what [| reliable sources] say the genre is. There were 3 sources saying the metalcore is one of the bands genres, thatw why I kept reverting it. I'm still against putting HM as one of the genres though. Also, no bridges have been burnt, you seem like a good kid who was just doing what he thought was right for the article(s)., Inhumer 06:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
No, those sources have always been for metalcore. Inhumer 00:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
I thinks its best to leave the sources. Inhumer 00:18, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
You're not the first to remove it, so lets just leave them. Inhumer 00:39, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
It expires in a few days, so I'd say just leave it, but if you want to message pgk and see if he'll undo it, you can. Inhumer 00:39, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
GN'R template
- If you want to change the style of Guns N' Roses' template, go for it. Although, i don't think a videography section, like in the Korn template, would be worthwhile. Bucketheader 20:25, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
About the pictures in the infoboxes, see this [1]. Bucketheader 20:34, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
I thought album covers in the infobox was a good idea, however, it's against wikipedia guidelines (WP:ALBUM#Chronology), discuss it on that projects talkpage if you want to change that guideline. Bucketheader 20:39, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
The template looks better now. Also, sorry i couldn't help in the 'edit war' on Lamb of God; i didn't see the message on my talk page. Bucketheader 21:15, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

I've blocked the user for 24 hours. VegaDark (talk) 04:02, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- If so, he will be blocked again, and progressively longer each time. We almost never "ban" IP addresses, blocking for 24 hours as a first block is standard. VegaDark (talk) 04:06, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- It's at the reviewing admin's discretion. I personally almost always block IP's for 24 hours if they have never been blocked before, then 48 hours, then 72 hours, then a week, then a month, then 3 months, then 6 months. Occasionally i will do different block lengths depending on if they are using a shared IP, or if their most recent block was old or not. Other admins have their own system, but most are similar to mine I'd guess. Users, on the other hand, do not get such leniency, and are generally indefinitely blocked if it is determined their account is only for vandalism. VegaDark (talk) 04:14, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- You can request pages to be unprotected at the "Current requests for unprotection" section of WP:RFPP. You could also ask the administrator who protected the page, User:pgk, to unprotect it. I am not familiar with the situation of why it is protected so I am hesitant to unprotect without looking in to the issue. VegaDark (talk) 04:24, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Re: Block 168.8.72.206
Hi Josh. This IP is probably used by more than one person, so the person vandalising yesterday may not have seen the warnings on their talk page from 2 weeks ago. Because of this, and the fact that there has been no vandalism from that IP since Spebi put a warning on their page, I don't think it would be appropriate to block them just yet. If they keep vandalising, then it will be a different matter. If you notice more vandalism, I suggest you report it at WP:AIV. I don't mind doing the blocking, but I'm not always online! Thanks, JPD (talk) 09:09, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Stavesacre2.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Stavesacre2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rlest 09:04, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Grammar
Please note that when you refer to a band, you do not use the pronoun "their." A band is not a person, it is an object. Thus, you use "its." Thanks.
Jeremy Moffett, Stavesacre
Jeremy did not play on the self-titled release. I removed that from the former members section.
Image:BAOTE.jpg
I have tagged Image:BAOTE.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. BigrTex 15:19, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Stavesacre2.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Stavesacre2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Non-Free Image Use
Please do not add non-free images to pages that are not directly discussing the object of the image in question.
For example, you can't add the cover art for Alice in Chains (album) to the singles from that album. You may only add the actual cover art for those singles, if it is available.

Userpage help
Well I'm actually not as good with html and stuff like that as you may think, I just know some basic stuff (on my userpage I used code borrowed from somewhere else and I just messed around with it until I ended up with something decent). But anyways here are some links to wiki pages that may help you with your userpage: Wikipedia:User Page Design Center and WP:UPH. I hope this helps because again I'm really not an expert in this area. --Leon Sword 01:48, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
