Proposed deletion of Troy Larkin

The article Troy Larkin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Article appears to be promotion for Snow Gum Film.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. About your article...

While copy-editing it, I can't dismiss the fact that this IS an article about an un-notable person. I won't be surprised if it is deleted. I can't help you with making Mr. Larkin more notable, but please remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia - not a collection a biographies about every person on the planet. Troy Larkin article

Well, congratulations, you got your article deleted. What I did was copy-edited the article and actually made it a Wikipedia-style document - however it seems that you obviously don't understand what that is. Perhaps, you can read WP:YFA to further your chances of creating an article that won't be deleted.

Even though I spent a good hour re-doing that article (because you asked), I'm not surprised of its fate - it had no notability or third-party references. It "does not deserve a chance here": Wikipedia is not a collection of biographies.

Please, if you're going to ask for help from an experienced editor, that you don't immediately dismiss the changes or work they have done.
