Request reason:

not here to request an unblock. I just want information regarding my block. I got blocked for sock puppetting. The main account is edday1051. I see that the block lapsed for my IP, but the blocks for the accounts remained. I assumed maybe I'm free to make a new account and start new. So I made a new account and have not engaged in any disruptive behavior, and now I'm blocked again as another sock puppet. Am I blocked permanently? What is the deal here? If so, why wasn't my IP blocked and why did that block lapse, but the accounts block remained? And why were my edits for Donte Foster deleted? That was a legitimate edit. He is not a vested veteran and so he would have to go through the waiver process. "Waived" or "cut" are the appropriate descriptions to use in that situation. "Released" is inappropriate in that context. Also it looks like my edits in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Football League were also deleted by User:Bbb23. Those were legitimate questions. Decline reason:

Creating a new account while you are blocked is not permitted, and edits by block-evading accounts can be reverted on sight whether they are good edits or not. Accounts can be indefinitely blocked, but IP addresses are only blocked for a relatively short fixed time as they are frequently re-assigned to other people. If you want to resume editing, you should log into your original account and make a request there. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:50, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Alright, that makes sense. Appreciate the response. Budden30 (talk) 18:10, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
