Peter Dow
[edit]Hey what's the big idea editing the Draft Condi page to remove the Rice for President Yahoo Group link which I added? That's what the watch list says.
I'm the owner of that group established in 2004 - and who are you to edit it out?
- Peter
- If you read the link to WP:ELNO you'll see that wikipedia has stated rules against external links to yahoo groups. This is an encyclopedia, not a linkfarm. Btl (talk) 19:53, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Steve Farhood
[edit]Hi Btl. Thanks for fixing my cat listing for Steve Farhood. It was obviously a cut and paste that I neglected to amend. Gimboid13 11:43, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Not a problem, I should have had the cat there when I created it. Minus points for me. Btl 11:47, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
The Kingpins
[edit]Hi. I know you're trying to follow WP:EL, but the link to the Kingpins MySpace page is kosher, since it is a link to "an official page of the article subject". Try and keep that in mind in the future. Thanks! Dr-ring-ding 14:59, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Solimon BIG.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Solimon BIG.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 07:19, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Reversion
[edit]Why? naerii 22:51, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- There's no direct basis for removing threats from talk pages based on WP:talk. As it stands, that little comment made by the founder is an example of WP:COI and the WP:NN of the article itself., which lends itself to staying until after the AfD period. Btl (talk) 02:13, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Btl! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 272 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Critical Mass (American band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non notable ska band. Tagged since 2009
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Donaldd23 (talk) 13:55, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
