Retired?
If I may be so bold as to ask -- why have you retired? You have, in my experience, been an invaluable contributor to the project. What has caused you to so suddenly leave? You don't have to answer, I am just curious. Whatever happens, you should know that both your contributions in regards to U-boat articles and in regards to war-related articles overall will be missed. Kind regards, -- Anonymous DissidentTalk -- (dated 08:27, 19 June 2007 UTC)
- I am not gone for good, I am just pretty busy and need a break. However, I think I will put up a different message :-).--Bryson109 00:48, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ok then :). I know how you feel actually, at times. Just so you know, your wikibreak notice on your page looks a little weird: quote - Bryson is taking a short wikibreak and will be back on Wikipedia In a week weeks. Might want to fix that up some how. Kind regards, -- Anonymous DissidentTalk -- (dated 11:35, 20 June 2007 UTC)
Joshua A. Norton FAC
I've commented at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Joshua A. Norton. I added a citation for the first request, but removed the second because it's already mentioned later in the article. Nishkid64 (talk) 20:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ok then, thanks.--Bryson 20:18, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Hanoi Girl
Were you expecting an answer? Sorry if I didn't know I had to reply.
Hanoi Girl isn't blocked and is still continuing to edit. She is not a sock, as said here. Apparently, it was a shared IP, and the autoblock prevented her from editing. An unblock request by her was granted. Checkuser also shows that Hanoi Girl has been using the same IP of a sock, but there was no evidence of sockpuppetry by her. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. Sr13 03:09, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ok then, thanks for clearing it up.--Bryson 15:10, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
My RFA
Thanks for participating in my RFA. Hiberniantears 17:33, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Napoleon was Corsican of Genoese and Tuscan ancestry
England conquered Ireland in the 12th Century. Does that mean every person born in Ireland is English? Your logic is severely flawed. Poland was completely partitioned between Germany and Russia on four separate occasions. Does that mean everyone born in Poland became Russian or Polish? I'm undoing your edit. I will elaborate. You are ridiculous to believe Napoleon was French. He didn't even consider himself to be French. To say that George Washington had not a single drop of American blood is completely accurate. There is no such thing as American blood. Pistolpierre 22:55, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe early in his life, but he requested to be buried on the bank of the Seine River, he clearly loved France later in life. And yes he was French by birth that is historical fact.--Bryson 23:44, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
French NATIONALITY is NOT French ethnicity
I could become an Israeli citizen and be buried in Tel Aviv but I could never be considered Hebrew. Understand? Pistolpierre 23:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- I see you and Deltabeignet have come to a truce. Good work, I don't have an issue with the article anymore.--Bryson 21:45, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

AFD for Technoport
I removed the DB tag that you placed on Technoport. Please see my comments on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Technoport. I think there is a possibility of notability here if the authors will add sources, and I think we should let it run through AFD. As it stands now, without changes it will likely be deleted anyway. ●DanMS • Talk 04:22, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Reverting archiving
Just curious about this... why did you revert Firefoxman's archiving of Talk:Main Page, here? --Dreaded Walrus t c 15:56, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- MisaBot I archives the maintalk page automatically , see diff. I have never seen a user 'archive' the maintalk before. --Bryson 16:22, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, thanks. I'd forgotten about that. :) --Dreaded Walrus t c 16:26, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to add your thoughts to the discussion at my recent Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Angus Lepper RfA, which failed, with no consensus to promote me. However, I appreciate the concerns raised during the course of the discussion (most notably, a lack of experience, particularly in admin-heavy areas such as XfDs and policy discussions) and will attempt to address these before possibly standing again in several months time. One more Thank you
Thanks for welcoming me! Hill400 20:27, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for taking the time to participate at the discussion in my Request for Adminship. Unfortunately the nomination did not succeed, but please rest assured that I am still in full support of the Wikipedia project. I listened carefully to all concerns, and will do my best to incorporate all of the constructive advice that I received, into my future actions on Wikipedia. If you can think of any other ways that I can further improve, please let me know. Best wishes, Elonka 05:13, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Unit infobox
At this point, simply using one of the many available identification_symbol
fields with an appropriate label will be much easier than trying to add (yet another) unique field. ;-) Kirill 19:39, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, good idea. Thanks. --Bryson 19:44, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
