don'tcha love text???

why is text interesting? because it helps reveal the essential matrix-coordinated basis of alphabet-coded language -- the page has a finite number of slots (rows and columns) and every point on the page has either "something" or "nothing" (and this is a good definition of "point" in a finite-state space). continuity makes everything so complicated. finite/discrete stuff is much less confusing -- and maybe (??) is the the actual founding basis of everything that people have always thought is continuous. "continuity is a fantasy" -- at least for people living a computerized world....
