  • I learned that Wikipedia started only 16 years ago.

Policy or Guideline: Undo Weight:

  • What surprises me is that it focuses on not putting in the most detail into everything.
  • You just need to get down the most information in the least amount of words.

Article Evaluation

[edit]

Elephant: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Elephant

  • The article about elephants is very well written. It holds a huge amount of detail, anything from the features on their bodies, zoos and circuses and the treats or attacks.
  • Yes, each fact is referenced with an appropriate reference.
  • Everything is completely relevant to the article topic in my eyes. The topic was just titled "Elephant", therefore it can talk about anything as long as it relates back to elephants, which everything did.
  • I checked on about 10 out of the 201 references and they all worked and had the information present.
  • Everything seems up to date. I looked at the circuses section and it talked about how they Ringling bros retired their elephants in 2016 and I know this information is correct because I have done research on it before.
  • The talk page says that the elephant article is listed as a level 4 vital article.
  • The elephant article is rated as a FA-class.

Cookie: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Cookie

  • The article was well written. Talked about all the different varieties of cookies and where cookies came from.
  • Yes, the facts were referenced.
  • The majority is relevant, it talked about cakes for a section but they did tie it back to cookies, so it worked.
  • I checked 4 of the 9 references and they worked.
  • It seems up to date, I don't know any knew information about cookies that didn't say.
  • Rated C-class on the quality scale, B-class status for following criteria and rated high-importance on the importance scale.

There is no genetic evidence showing any relationship between a St. Bernard and English Mastiff. It is known though, that Alpine Mastiffs played a part in developing the English Mastiff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brooookiiee (talkcontribs) 18:18, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
