Uncontroversial page moves

[edit]

The page move request you posted at Talk:Shirley Blumberg to move the subject's name to the proper capitalisation was not controversial and does not require a complete RM discussion. You can just post such requests at Wikipedia:Requested moves#Requesting technical moves (in the "Uncontroversial technical requests" subsection) or just move it yourself if there is a "Move" option under the "More" tab on the top right of the page. I went ahead and moved it myself. —  AjaxSmack  03:08, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

[edit]

You seem to be adding articles about architects at a particular firm, so it might be possible that you have a conflict of interest. If so, I need to inform you about our policies:

If so , you must declare the conflict of interest. See our Terms of Use, particularly with respect to paid contributions without disclosure

The only really recommended way to make articles when you have a conflict of interest is to declare on the user page that you have a conflict of interest with the organization, and then use Articles for Creation <https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/WP:AFC>. There you can have your text evaluated and worked on by other editors to ensure it meets Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for inclusion. You should also be aware that the Wikipedia community strongly discourages articles written by individuals close to a subject because of the difficulty in writing objectively about your organization, yourself, your family, or your work, in line with Wikipedia's conflict of interest <https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/WP:COI>

please note that you must show the notability of the individual by references about their specific notability ,and not confuse this with the general notability of the firm. I recognize this can be a little tricky with principals in an architectural firm, but a discussion of the firm itself should be reserved for an article about the firm, unless the firm has a single principal , and their work is indistinguishable, which does not seem to be the case here.

If I can help you with this, let me know on my user talk page. DGG ( talk ) 03:16, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
