Mohammed Hasan Kamaluddin

[edit]

I've tagged the article you created, Mohammed Hasan Kamaluddin, as a hoax, and an considering putting it up at articles for deletion because I can't find any sources on him; there's no evidence he exists. However, before nominating it for deletion, I wanted to see if you had any sources for the article that you haven't used as references or if you have conflicting thoughts on the matter. Please respond either here ar at my talk page. Thank you. C628 (talk) 14:34, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. I see you've added a few sources; hold on while I look at those. C628 (talk) 14:35, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I am adding more sources now. However, the sources I have are all in Arabic. If you have a person who understands Arabic, please let him check the sources before deleting. Also, some of the content I added are from books. How can I cite for books that are not available on the internet? is that possible? thanks.

Hello. I've removed the tag for it being a hoax; I'm no expert in Arabic, I used Google Translate, but the source you have so far seems reliable, and he does appear to be a valid person. I apologize for the confusion there. As for the books, Template:Cite book has the outline for how to use books as references; just follow the instructions there and you'll be set. For Wikipedians who speak Arabic, see here, everyone there speaks Arabic, although not necessarily natively. If you have any other questions, I or anyone else here would be happy to help. I've also taken the liberty of adding a references section at the end of the article for all the sources cited, as that's generally the policy here. Hope you don't mind. C628 (talk) 14:54, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks everyone. I think I need some help. I uploaded two photos, but I don't know why their size is too big. I added the code for resizing the photos to 200px but it doesn't seem to work.

Done Just put "thumb" (without the quotation marks) as the size, and the image and caption will be moved to a smaller size automatically.

Thanks alot for your help. Also, I don't know how to include all the references in the references section at the very end of the page. The references are appearing only within the sections themselves. Can anyone please help me?

Yeah, I've trying to do that every so often; I'm not quite sure why it's not sticking. What you do is create a "references" section, then just type {{reflist}} below that, and all the references will come up in a list under that section. I just did that again on the article, and at least temporarily, it's fixed. I think the problem is that there were <reference/> tags in the article every so often, which made the references show up there. When you're using {{reflist}}, those aren't necessary. Hope that made sense; feel free to ask for clarification if it didn't. C628 (talk) 17:43, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
