Simon Darby

[edit]

Hi,

I recently removed a section from Simon Darby concerning his podcast. My reason for doing so was that no reliable, 3rd party sources were given, and the information in the section was not supported by the 1st party sources either. You reverted these edits, while also removing a section concerning a controversy surrounding Darby. As we disagree over whether these two scetions should be on the wikipedia article, simply reverting each other's edits won't resolve this issue. I've started up a discussion on the talkpage, which will hopefully help reach a resolution. Darimoma (talk) 17:51, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted a message about the Darby article on Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard. Please get involved in the discussion - otherwise your point of view might not be taken into consideration when trying to reach a resolution. You can post a message on my talkpage, your talkpage, or, preferably, the Simon Darby talkpage. Darimoma (talk) 15:30, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've also asked for a third opinion. I urge you to discuss this dispute. We can't simply revert each other's edits ad infinitum. Darimoma (talk) 18:06, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see you are one of the editors involved in the editing dispute at Simon Darby. In order that we can understand your side of the debate please could you explain your thinking at Talk:Simon_Darby#His_podcast. This will save a lot of time and hassle on everyone's parts. AfD nomination of Simon Darby

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Simon Darby. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Simon Darby. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
