Re: Thank you for your help WikHead

[edit]

You're very welcome, and welcome again to Wikipedia. I'd like to point out that the grammar in the "Genre" section is a bit balled up and confusing... especially in the third sentence. If you can address this grammar issue, please feel free to remove the {{copyedit}} tag. Thank you kindly for your message. Happy editing! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 05:40, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm... Maybe it's just me (and I'm willing to accept that it is), but when reading this section, I'm still not getting a clear understanding of what's being said. I also feel that there has to be a smother way of saying "[ ... ] Their choice of instruments is also likely the reason they are also often considered... [ ... ]". Being unfamiliar with the subject matter myself, and somewhat uncertain of what this paragraph is saying, makes it difficult for me to confidently make any productive adjustments. There are however, a number of wiki-contributors who are very sharp at tweaking and simplifying written grammar, and specifically look for articles with these tags to work their magic. It's unlikely that I would restore the {{copyedit}} tag if it was removed, but strongly suggest leaving it in place until one of these grammar specialists come to the rescue.  -- WikHead (talk) 16:22, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Age Of Denial (Album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 129.78.32.24 (talk) 01:59, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Briggsda/Parker and Lily, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Briggsda/Parker and Lily and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Briggsda/Parker and Lily during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 08:11, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
