Lincs villages
[edit]Hiya thanks for writing - I thought Id send a few links your way to help you in your research - nice to find a fellow editor with a similar interest in writing about Lincs villages.
Grid Reference Finder This ones good for getting the OS grid ref just from a village name. Right clicking on the pin gives you the coordinates, and if you click on the find POSTCODE for this point it brings up a new page with the OS grif ref as well as the postcode - going to the National Statistics page and entering the postcode gives you all sorts of relevant info that will help you fill out the Infobox.
Templates for Infoboxes can be found here: Infobox templates
Other sites Ive found useful are: Pastscape and Lincs to the Past
Hope you enjoy your new hobby!! Panderoona (talk) 12:50, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
