Speedy deletion

[edit]

May I direct your attention to the criteria for speedy deletion page? There, you'll find a list of specific criteria which articles must meet in order to be speedily deleted - The 34 (mixed drink), for example, does not, unfortunately, meet any of those criteria. You'll also find a list of standard deletion templates, so that you can leave a deletion request that clearly explains which of the criteria an article meets, without biting the newcomers. Thanks! -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:28, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your speedy deletion rationale "Do Not Remove this, if you do you are a vandal" is quite harsh, please see WP:CSD for some standard deletion templates, as mentioned above. If a used does remove a speedy deletion tag, then please leave the {{subst:uw-speedy1}} on their talk page. Nenyedi(DeedsTalk) 21:34, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Although it is not explicitly stated, many of the users creating inappropriate articles are new editors, and it can be considered as "Biting" the newcomers. See WP:BITE for more information. Happy Editing! --Nenyedi(DeedsTalk) 21:40, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I am not considering you new, but saying that the users are new. I can not control your behavior, but I just suggest that you do not state this, because many of the users might take off the tag, but there are appropriate warning messages for it. If you still want to use your message, go ahead.Nenyedi(DeedsTalk) 21:45, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! You forgot to use an informative speedy deletion template again. Which of the speedy deletion criteria does this talk page meet? I can't tell, from your message, why this talk page for an image should be deleted. A new user wouldn't have any idea what you meant by "add the hangon feature," either. I'll remove the tag, and if you decide which specific criteria for speedy deletion is violated here, you can add the appropriate template. -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:57, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
