Your draft
[edit]I've received your email. Unfortunately, I do not believe that Draft:LJ Harrison is ready for mainspace at this time. Articles on Wikipedia must meet our notability guidelines. Since Harrison is a sports figure, WP:ATHLETE applies. Particularly, one of the requirement is that an article subject must have significant coverage in multiple secondary, reliable, and independent sources; the article at this time only has a single source, from his college basketball team, which is not significant enough to warrant an article. Furthermore, several sentences in your draft are unsourced, which is a big no-no on Wikipedia, especially for a biography on a living person.
All in all, I am not going to move your draft into mainspace. I would suggest continue working on the article in draftspace, adding more sources to back up the various claims in the article and determining reliability for Harrison, then submitting your draft for review; you can do so by adding {{subst:submit}}
to the top of your draft once you feel it is ready. SkyWarrior 13:52, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
I am new here, can you walk me through how to add the reliable sources? Boxingmom9915 (talk) 14:00, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- More info can be found at WP:REFB and, in more detail, WP:CITE, but the easiest way to add a source is to add
<ref> [link to source] </ref>
at the end of whatever sentence you need to source. Basically, it would look something like this:- Bob went to the store.<ref>https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Boxingmom9915</ref>
- As for actually finding the sources, well that's something you gotta do on your own. Read this page to help your search. SkyWarrior 14:25, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
LJ Harrison moved to draftspace
[edit]It appears that you may have a conflict of interest with the subject of LJ Harrison, and as such you should submit this article to be published through the Articles for Creation process. Before editing the article further, please first disclose on your user page and on the article's Talk page whether you have received money to write this or other articles on Wikipedia, or if you have any other kind of conflict of interest concerning the subject. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Before submitting, you should make sure that the article is fully compliant with Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability policies, as well as our notability guidelines. When you’re ready, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. This process is encouraged, but optional. If you choose not to participate in it, you can remove the AfC template and move the article back to mainspace. You should also consider reaching out to the Teahouse for additional feedback and aid from experienced editors. signed, Rosguill talk 20:29, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- I have already done this, the article was approved to be moved with all references checked. I am the subject's manager therefore I have permission to do so. Thank you Boxingmom9915 (talk) 20:32, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- The article was not approved to be moved to mainspace and you've been blocked for promotion. Someone unconnected to Harrison is welcome to create the article and edit about his career. Star Mississippi 22:18, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:
I was not paid to create the article LJ Harrison, just simply a fan of the sport, please help me obtain my draft back and help me edit it Boxingmom9915 (talk) 23:22, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Many, many problems here. You first claimed to be the person's manager, and now say you aren't. Which is it, and why should we believe you now if you didn't tell the truth before? You also say multiple people have operated this account- accounts are strictly single person use only, no one else should have access to this account. You are here for promotional purposes and have violated the conflict of interest policy. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about Harrison. If that is your only goal here, this is probably the end of the road. If you are interested in being a more general contributor and editing about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I'm sorry you don't feel welcome, we want to help you, but we need full honesty, transparency, and at least an effort to abide by policies. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:52, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Question: just above you said you're Harrison's manager. Star Mississippi 00:00, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
I am not paid to do anything, just a fan that is also a close friend who thought that he should have a page to note all of the accomplishments that he has — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boxingmom9915 (talk • contribs)
- I will leave your request for another admin, but you have a conflict of interest and should not be editing this article. If Harrison is deemed notable, someone without a connection will write about his career. Star Mississippi 00:33, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- So you aren't his manager as you say above? 331dot (talk) 01:56, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Note that "a page to note all the accomplishments he has" is exactly what social media is for, not Wikipedia. A Wikipedia article(the preferred term instead of the broader "page") is to summarize what independent reliable sources say about a person. 331dot (talk) 01:59, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
No I am not, there was more than one person editing on this account. How can this issue be resolved? I need help, I thought this was a welcoming community and I am not feeling that way. Can someone please assist with how to properly edit the article? And have it restored from deletion? I worked really hard on it, being my first article Boxingmom9915 (talk) 02:00, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- regardless of whether you're a close friend or a manager, you shouldn't be editing the article because you have a conflict of interest. If you're unblocked and someone else creates it, you'd be welcome to make Edit requests. Admitting you're sharing your account, if true, is another reason for the account to remain blocked.
