Academy Juvenile Award rated Start-Class?
Hi there. I'm watching the Academy Juvenile Award page, and I noticed you rated the article as "Start-Class" on the article's talk page today. I spent quite a bit of time sourcing and rewriting the entire article a couple of months ago, and I'm just a little confused about your reasoning for rating it as "Start-Class" since I'd probably rate it somewhere between "C" or "B-Class". I just wanted to check with you to ask if you'd take another look to see if this might be a simple copy/paste mistake or if there was some larger problem with the manual of style and/or obvious gaps in information or sources that you believed were missing? Thanks --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 06:12, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking another look and re-rating the article. :-) --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 23:04, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. It definitely is an excellent article, I would almost put it up for GA review if you want. BOVINEBOY2008 23:42, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage
Hi! How are you? I noticed you changed all instances of "movie" in Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage to "film". I imagine you had a good reason to do so... is it a recent convention? All things considered, I preferred the way it was before. One argument is that although the "film" article in Wikipedia is called film, the article for "film theater" is called movie theater (and "theatre" being the Canadian spelling of "theater"). But that aside, "movie theatre" just sounds like a lot more like regular, everyday English to me than "film theatre". If there is a strong consensus in the Wikipedia community that "film" should be used throughout that you can show me, fair enough—or if you have another good reason of your own—but otherwise I'll be inclined to change them all back to "movie". Thanks! Moisejp (talk) 23:58, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Akkarakazhchakal - The Movie
Observed your move of 'Akkarakazhchakal - The Movie' to 'Akkarakazhchakal'. But to my knowledge 'Akkarakazhchakal - The Movie' is the official title of the film. They gave this title purposefully to differentiate it from Akkara Kazhchakal, the T.V. serial which is the prequel to this film. You can verify this by going through both the articles and their website http://www.akthemovie.com/index.html

Inception: Themes and analysis section
Hi Bovineboy, I hope you are well. I've started work on a themes and analysis section for Inception (2010). I had a feeling that there wasn't enough critical opinion incorporated into the article, and too much of the analysis was stuffed into "Production", a first draft of only one sub-section is in my Sandbox here, I'd love to hear your comments. Hello. I see you have moved Rockstar (film) to Rockstar (2011 film). I understand the reasoning but wonder whether you've seen Talk:Rockstar (film)#Requested move. It would be useful to know what name this article is likely to have in future, as we're discussing the opposite move for Rock Star (2001 film) here and would like to be consistent. Certes (talk) 18:29, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- I hadn't seen that discussion, but I still stand by my move. The title "Rockstar (film)" is too ambiguous to be clear that it is referring to the 2011 film or the 2001 film. I weighed in on the rm. BOVINEBOY2008 18:33, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
Monsters University
Why is Wikipedia supposed to accept without proof that Monsters University is a fake rumor?? Georgia guy (talk) 18:50, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- I am not sure what you are talking about. According to WP:NFF, films must be in the production phase or otherwise have significant coverage to have a stand-alone article. Monsters University has not received significant coverage nor can I find any sources that say it has entered production. Thus it does not merit having a stand-alone article. Information about Monsters University should go here, until it reaches one of those two guidelines. BOVINEBOY2008 19:43, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

Volcano
Hello again. Thank you for moving Volcano (film) to Volcano (1997 film). I agree that this is a much better title. Unfortunately, the 95 pages with links to Volcano (film) which used to lead to the film article now link to a general disambiguation page about volcanoes instead. It's the same problem that we're sorting out with Rockstar, where lots of film-related pages linked to a page explaining what a rock star is.
I don't think this is anyone's fault; there seems to be a hole in the procedure. People who create a disambiguation page are expected to fix the links, but there's no mechanism for mending them (or even noting that they're broken) when an article gets replaced by a redirect to an existing dab.
I'm not sure what to suggest but I just wanted to leave a polite reminder that, whilst correct and helpful, these moves can leave hours of tedious manual work behind, and it may be a while before people get around to patching up all the incoming links.
In case you're wondering, I'm not stalking you. I only noticed Rockstar and Volcano because I occasionally check for disambiguation pages with lots of incoming links so I can clean them up, and both topics are near the top of the output tonight.
Thanks, Certes (talk) 00:03, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
- No worries. In the past, when I've made these moves I'll clean them up with AWB, but I've been tied down with other work today. I'll be cleaning them up soon here. BOVINEBOY2008 00:21, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
- Great, thanks for the quick reply. I'm just finishing fixing Volcano links from articles beginning 0-L, so it would be great if you could sort out M-Z. I have left Rock Star alone until the Requested Move closes in about 24 hours and we know what its long-term title will be. Certes (talk) 00:41, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Article review of Kimi ni Todoke (film)
Hi Bovineboy2008,
Thank you for reviewing the article Kimi ni Todoke (film). Can you please specify on the article's talk page about what this article is lacking in that prevents it from attaining a B-class rating? Your suggestions will really help to improve this article. Thank you.--Lionratz (talk) 08:21, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Thanks & few Qs
Thanks for your edits on Sailaab (1990 film), Prem Pratigyaa, Parasmani & Sahibaan. I was thinking that maybe i only have to somehow keep find things in this article & keep editing. Good that you peeped. But i have questions now. Shouldnt even the blank entries of infobox be left that way itself? So that later on they can be filled in when known? I also havent understood the use of Film India template. I have asked this question here too. You can reply there so that others too would know. -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 21:47, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hi. I responded at the task force about the use of {{Film India}}, but if you have more questions, I can explain at bit further. In terms of "empty" fields in the infobox. A lot of time, the blanks exists for a couple reasons: 1, it isn't known (isn't in any data available), 2, it isn't known to the editor (can be filled in by an another editor) or 3, it doesn't exist (narrator, for many films). I tend to remove fields that aren't going to be filled (based on, narrator), or that will be filled if needed later on (image size, border). It isn't right or wrong to include them, but I find it a bit more stream lined without the extra characters. BOVINEBOY2008 22:30, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- No problem in removing the fields that wont be applicable at all (eg Narrator; in many cases). But the infobox doesnt show the blank fields on the page even if they are blank. So the reader is not affected at all by these deletions. Then are these deletions done for saving bytes? -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 10:57, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
- Essentially. There is nothing wrong with including them though. BOVINEBOY2008 12:29, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

The above film article has been rated start-class in the WikiProject Film template in the talk page. Forgive me, but this rating seems particularly ridiculous especially in the wake of enormous developments to the article. I request you to impartially view the article once again and revise the rating, if you see fit. Please note that the film is yet to release, so no Box Office or Critical Reception sections exist. But it is fair to say the quality of the article is fit enough at least for a C, if not a B. AnkitBhattTalk to me!!LifEnjoy 15:17, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
Removed reviews
Did you realize that you removed the Reviews from the Infobox for 3-Way Tie (For Last) without moving them to a Template:Album ratings?
I'm going to restore them through by adding Album ratings, but I thought you should know.
