Thanks for your message

[edit]

Thank you for your message. I realise that you are fairly new here, and so far are focusing on a single article; that's pretty typical for most new editors. One of the biggest challenges Wikipedia faces is business people and others writing their own articles (or articles for their colleagues) even though there is nothing particularly special about them - that can create a conflict of interest. (You can see the policy at WP:COI if you are interested.) As well, we do sometimes have problems with a group of people sharing a single account. Since our licensing process requries that each individual author be identifiable in some form (whether pseudonym, real name, IP address or a combination of all three), having more than one person share the same account is a significant problem.

I have become quite busy in real life in the last few days and have hardly had much of a chance to get online. When I do get more time in a day or two, I will re-examine the article you started and provide you with greater feedback on what seems to be missing, what information needs to be sourced, and so on. I have to be honest, there are hundreds of player agents out there with a more impressive roster of clients than what I have seen so far for McKenzie (very few of whom are notable enough for Wikipedia articles), so I'd suggest that you find more sourced information about his clientele to support your contention that the article should remain. Is there an article already for the agency he works for? Risker (talk) 00:12, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Craig McKenzie, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 08:08, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
