Why your draft was deleted

[edit]

Hello. An administrator deleted your draft article for the following reason: (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion)

To show that a topic is notable enough for inclusion, we require significant coverage already exists from sources that are both reliable and independent. Significant coverage means that the topic has been discussed in-depth by the writer. A source is considered reliable if it has an established reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight, e.g. mainstream academic press, major news outlets, major magazines, etc. An source is independent if has no affiliation with the topic being discussed. It is also necessary to describe the topic from a neutral point of view, as if the writer has no personal interest in the topic.

There were problems with the sources you used:

  1. https://www.donricardosauce.com/index.html - This is the subject's own website, making it a primary source. While this is OK for providing basic facts and figures, any interpretation of those facts is not acceptable. Also, a primary source alone cannot establish the topic's notability.
  2. https://hotsaucefever.com/hotsauce/don-ricardo-sauce-co-original-pique/ - This appears to be a blog that consists of user-submitted content. Because this lacks editorial oversight, it falls under the category of a self-published source and therefore considered unreliable. This also disqualifies the overwhelming majority of social media sites.
  3. https://superble.com/explore/central-america-brings-the-heat-with-their-hot-sauces/3821 - There is only a brief mention of this product, so it lacks the depth of coverage that is required.

In addition, the tone of the article sounded a bit more like a sales pitch instead of a plainly factual description from the required neutral point of view. Perhaps this was not your intention, but that was the overall effect. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:06, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article moved to draft

[edit]

Hello, I recently moved an article you created from Don Ricardo Sauce Co. to Draft:Don Ricardo Sauce Co.. I have conducted this action as 1) the article does not fully comply with WP:MOS; 2) seems to be similar to an article recently deleted by an administer; and 3) may not meet Wikipedia's standard for inclusion (WP:NCORP).--SamHolt6 (talk) 02:55, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
