Your question

[edit]

In response to your question here. The addition that you made was a copy/paste from another web site. That could be a copyright violation. If you want the content to remain in the article, it needs to be paraphrased and properly referenced. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. See WP:COPYVIO. BTW, please don't be upset when I remove it again. -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 21:17, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Further inquiry

[edit]

I understand and see your point on the copy and past from a different website. I will parapharse it as to not unintentionally violate copyright, even though I have personally work with the JView program and assisted with the creation of the website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobafettbv (talkcontribs)

I'm still a bit confused as to why the link was removed as well, I'm assuming that you simply just reverted it back to a previous page. The link should work properly since its an extranet page and provides new updated information related to the project. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobafettbv (talkcontribs)

You are right, the link should have stayed. One other thing, if you worked on the web site and have first hand knowledge of the subject, you have to be careful not to violate WP:COI and WP:OR. -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 15:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
