Hi all, I am very new to this. Can anyone tell me how to link to another page without displaying the full reference? For example: I want to link to 'Charles Mann (advocate-general)' but for chronological reasons want only to display 'Charles Mann'. I also want to capitalize 'Advocate-General'. thanksBob Flutie (talk) 02:56, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You would do [[Charles Mann (advocate-general)|Charles Mann]].
The manual of style regarding article titles says to follow sentence case; I could be mistaken, but sentence case would have the "advocate-general" to be lower-cased. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Advocates-General and Crown Solicitors of South Australia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Mann (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
