Hey, I was wondering if you would be interested in adding a few entries to keep this portal updated... (It will automatically change articles every month.) Thanks, --Bolonium (talk) 01:46, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed your edits to this and its related articles. I certainly understand the reasoning for combining them into the one article. But this article was created by copy and pasting, and was done without seeking consensus. I also understand that we can't keep all three of the articles - we need either the two seperate ones or the combined article. But if we're going to put them together, we at least need to do a proper merger, and not simply a blank-and-redirect. I don't want to turn this into an edit war so I'm not going to undo your edits, but I'd appreciate it if you would. Thanks! Dchall1 (talk) 04:27, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Kosovo. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. <3 bunny 19:04, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, but I think you just violated 3RR with respect to Kosovo. What are you trying to do, get blocked? — Rickyrab | Talk 19:09, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, you are probably allowed another revert, but check on that. The problem is: it'll likely be reverted, so you're probably checkmated as is. — Rickyrab | Talk 19:13, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Per this arbitration case you are hereby banned from Kosovo and all closely related pages for one week. This ban will be enforced by rollbacks and blocks if necessary. No point letting you game the system and continue with disruptive editing, is there? Moreschi If you've written a quality article... 19:19, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

The current version of Kosovo article is saying it is a region in the Balkans. Huge efforts were put in making this article as neutral as possible, please, discuss changes on the talkpage and do not revert again without discussion. --Tone 23:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Admin coaching request update
[edit]You have previously expressed an interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. We're currently engaged in a program reset to help things move more smoothly in the future. If you are still interested in the program, please go to Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching and re-list yourself under Current requests, deleting your entry from Older requests. Also, double-check to make sure coaching is right for you at the Coachee checklist; WP:Adoption or WP:Editor review may be more appropriate depending on your situation and aspirations. We should get back to you within a day or so, once a coaching relationship has been identified. Thank you. MBisanz talk 07:21, 9 March 2008 (UTC) |

Cut-and-paste moves
[edit]Hi. I noticed that you redirected Novak Djokovic to the title with the non-English spelling. I have reverted you, because we can't do "cut-and-paste" page moves. They separate the history from the article, and that's not ok for legal reasons relating to our GFDL license. I have posted at WP:AN requesting review of my closing; please allow the process to run. If you disagree with the broad consensus that we follow sources in determining article names, please raise that issue in the appropriate venue; I'll be happy to help you do that. Cut-and-paste moves aren't going to fly, though. -GTBacchus(talk) 20:18, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

However, we must first discuss it. Post it in the talk page, thanks. Beam 00:41, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I believe consensus has been reached on your proposal
[edit]As far as I'm concerned you may replace the UNMIK box with the Serb Auto Province box.
Be sure to re-read the last few comments atTalk:Kosovo#Template_of_how_over_150_countries_see_Kosovo to make sure you understand exactly what you're enacting.Let me know if you have any questions.
As an aside, I hope you understand my position when I revert edits you've made. I'm not necessarily commenting on the quality of the edits, but on the fact that this article is such a contentious fire pit that edits of that type can not be made without discussion FIRST. Again, I'm just trying to keep this article from being relegated to an edit war or worse to be completely protected and locked. :) Beam 23:43, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Admin coaching request status
[edit]You have expressed interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. However, after reviewing your edit history, I feel you may need more experience editing (i.e., >1,750 edits & 4 months of activity) on Wikipedia before you can know for certain your ready to begin the process of becoming an administrator. Therefore, at this time, your application for Admin Coaching has been declined.
My suggestion would be to seek adoption from a more experienced user who can help you experience all of the various components of editing an encyclopedia. If you decide adoption is not for you, there is also the editor review process that may help you find areas to improve upon in our editing. If you would like to talk more about this, please feel free to leave me a note at my talk page. Malinaccier (talk) 22:50, 6 June 2008 (UTC) |
On a more personalized note, I would suggest getting involved in areas such as WP:XFD, and WP:NPP. Happy editing, Malinaccier (talk) 22:50, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Your revert
[edit]You said:(rv vandalism. I doubt that someone with a username Kosova2008 doesn't only support the Albanian side (which calls Kosovo "Kosova" and not "Kosovo"). thanks for understanding)
I say: First of all, I am a Kosovar so I support Republic of Kosova, period. It wouldn't matter to me if it is called Kosova, Kosovo, New New York, or Dardania. Secondly, I call Kosova by this name because its' name is so; this "kosovo" and also "metohija" are imposed articles of Serbian Government to make Kosova more "ethnically pure" and more Serbian. Your government (or ex government) has culturally oppressed us by changing our names, banning at times Albanian language, schools, laws, and government. Do not take it personally, but I do not believe everything I read. The name Kosova has long existed before Kosovo. If Serbian names end in the letter O than why does your country end in A (Serbia and not Serbio)?
On the last note, the map which is now there has been discussed by the WP community and has been decided as so. If you feel that this isn't right, you may go right ahead and propose a change via editprotect. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Ari a Kosovar.

Disruptive editing warning
[edit]Please cease editing disruptively on Kosovo-related articles, including your deletions of Kosovo-related images and moving pages of Kosovo geographical articles to "xxxx, Serbia". Places in Kosovo are in Kosovo. Whether Kosovo is in Serbia is another question altogether. Please also do not abuse Twinkle to make reverts on the basis of vandalism when they're nothing of the sort - [1], [2], [3]. If you continue to do that you will have your access to Twinkle revoked. I'd like to remind you that articles relating to Kosovo are currently under discretionary sanctions imposed by the Arbitration Committee and that disruptive editing may result in blocks. -- ChrisO (talk) 02:21, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Please take the next month off Kosovo-related articles, talk pages, templates etc. Too much edit-warring and disruption from you recently. This isn't actually a request, strictly speaking: it's a formal sanction enforceable by block. And it will be enforced. Thank you. Moreschi (talk) 22:22, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Usne boje vina
[edit]You're funny, you're really funny, no doubt. I love it how Serbian extremists, like yourself, tend to change Montenegrin into Serbian, thinking Montenegrins are Serbs, even though they're not. Oh, and mate, I suggest doing some research before actually making an epic edit like that in Usne boje vina. --Prevalis (talk) 22:51, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
- Now you're the one who's being funny. I'm not a Serbian extremist (I'm not even a Serb, buddy), but I do know that Rajovic declares himself as a Serbian singer. Plain and simple. If you think otherwise, prove it, and if you do, I will gladly accept your change. --JUSTICE 20:37, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Nowhere does it say that he is even Serbian. Even in the Serbian newspaper, Vesti, do they say that he is Montenegrin (link). You should see the negative comments Serbian radicals leave on his videos, calling his songs nationalistic and separatistic (referring to Montenegro's independence). And some more to add from a popular Croatian blog (link) and from Balkan Media's e-magazine (link) --Prevalis (talk) 21:28, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Here is another example, you would think Bojan Tomovic, a Serb by birth, is actually a Serb. Guess what? He isn't, he's also a Montenegrin, something he is proud to admit, even on his own website. Jadranka Barjaktarevic also, you would think she's a Serb, but she, too, is a Montenegrin. I can go on with this discussion, but I'd rather not. I've got better things to do than argue. - If you aren't a Serb, then what are you? --Prevalis (talk) 21:28, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- First of all, it's very rude to ask someone's ethnic background. If this is how you judge people, I'd suggest for you to think about life a bit more. If you must know, my ethnicity is mixed, but I have lived in Belgrade for 60 years and consider myself a Yugoslav, Belgrader, as well as citizen of Serbia and the world.
- OK, your arguments and links about Rajovic have convinced me. Thanks, --JUSTICE 00:21, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- I apologize for my rudeness. I just get pretty ticked when someone starts spreading false information. I never did like to judge people, as I consider myself a cosmopolitan. I'm not racist, but I don't like extremism or radicalism if you know what I mean. I thought by taking a break from Wikipedia would help myself relax, but all it did was give me another reason to be mad at myself. lol Again, sorry about my behavior. --Prevalis (talk) 19:00, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

The article Serbian Youth League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails notability test. References included in the article never actually directly mention the "league". Original research is carried out by the individual who created the article and who is possibly affiliated with the group. Instances of plagiarism are also present.

Speedy deletion nomination of Balkan Express
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Balkan Express requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.nytimes.com/movies/movie/3798/Balkan-Ekspres/overview. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. bobrayner (talk) 20:51, 25 October 2014 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Futog.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Futog.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Logan Talk Contributions 05:42, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
