A tag has been placed on Myrmidon Books, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bmcollier (talk) 00:17, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit if you feel they have been resolved.

The article Lisa Maria Hirschfelder has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Toby frost, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:02, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bmcollier. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Toby frost".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Toby frost}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 00:08, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Britanico

[edit]

Hi, I'm Slatersteven. Bmcollier, thanks for creating Britanico!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This needs a lot more references, and seem to reply on a fair amount of WP:OR.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Slatersteven (talk) 14:37, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I will add I am considering nominating this for deletion as it appears to be more a back door promotion for one London coffee shop. Pleae contact me if you have anything to dispute this.Slatersteven (talk) 14:44, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the comments. I'll remove the reference to the shop - there are a number of them called this. Will try to get a better link Bmcollier (talk)

You would be better off trying to find some sources for the rest of the article, ate this time it would not survive AFD on notability grounds.Slatersteven (talk) 14:53, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks - I ought to be able to dig something up. Bmcollier (talk)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Britanico requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Caledonian Forest, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Trees for Life (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:10, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your interest in my WikiProject Proposal

[edit]

Thank you for your interest in my proposal for a WikiProject Mysticism at Wikipedia: WikiProject Council. If we can find another two Wikipedians who are interested, we should have enough Wikipedians to start the WikiProject. I wonder whether you would be interesting in publicising this proposal on the talk pages of articles related to mysticism? Thank you for your co-operation. I'll do a few! Bmcollier (talk) 20:39, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Mysticism

[edit]

Thank you for saying you would join WikiProject Mysticism at Wikipedia: WikiProject Council. I wonder whether, as the number of interested Wikipedians listed there who have expressed an interest appears to have stagnated at five, you feel we can start the WikiProject? I feel that the best way to attract more Wikipedians to join this WikiProject would be to start it and tag relevant articles on their talk pages, as there may be many Wikipedians who do not know of Wikipedia: WikiProject Council. 19:47, 18 June 2020 (UTC) Dear User: Bmcollier, I have started Wikipedia: WikiProject Mysticism, so you may like to join. Some one moved it to the namespace, where it looks like a proposal for a new WikiProject, but you may like to modify it so that it looks like a proper WikiProject. Thank you for your support in getting this WikiProject started - it is appreciated Vorbee (talk) 07:54, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, I've created a base project page. Bmcollier (talk) 15:51, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear User:Bmcollier Thank you for doing that - it is appreciated. Vorbee (talk) 17:00, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User: Bmcollier, I see there are a number of articles in Wikipedia - most obviously the article on Mysticism - that could do with a template saying "This article is of interest to WikiProject Mysticism" on their talk pages. I wonder whether you know how to put this template in? Many thanks, Vorbee (talk) 18:51, 17 July 2020 (UTC) I have tried putting the tag on the talk page of the article on Mysticism, but it came out in red letters. Do you know what I might be doing wrong? Many thanks, Vorbee (talk) 17:11, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nathaniel Woodbine moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Nathaniel Woodbine, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
