My very quick advice on four note group would be see WP:LEAD and WP:CITE. If you both feel the subject is important for other people to learn about and it is personally important to you, in my experience, the easiest way to preserve it as an article is to create a lead with at least one citation. For example, if your article is:

Chess is game.

The small change to

Chess is game<ref>Author (Year). ''Book claiming chess is a game'', page. ISBN.</ref>.

is a dramatic improvement that may keep your article from being deleted. Hyacinth (talk) 00:32, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Miles! The Definitive Miles Davis at Montreux DVD Collection has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't seem notable one bit. Only sources are All About Jazz and a forum. Most likely made for promotion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 13:45, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
