Speedy deletion nomination of The Jelly Roll Kings

A tag has been placed on The Jelly Roll Kings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. The article 1993 in tennis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Quite possibly the worst, most confusing article I have ever seen. "The champion for this year was Kitzbühel, of Australia. His ..." So a place in Austria (not Australia) which is a person was this year's champion? Champion of what? Article then proceeds to list a bunch of players names under a section called "Participating players" but gives no indication what they participated in. Just seems like a random bunch of names. This article is surely better off as a redlink.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
