This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of MNG Europe, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.linkedin.com/companies/mng-europe-sa. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:59, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of MNG Europe
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on MNG Europe, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of MNG Europe and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 14:07, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion of MNG Europe
[edit]Seems you already have enough on your plate than to have my errors add to your growing list of things-to-do, my apologies for that. I am the co-owner of MNG Europe (Val Jelinic) and have utilised similar text on both the LinkedIn webpage for this attempt at our first Wikipedia page.
Our intention in adding an entry to Wikipedia is not for the purpose of commercial gain or advertising, it is to be an informative piece communicating who we are, where we came from and what we do. I've tried to be as commercially "sterile" as possible, and tried to remain factually focused but obviously I am still "infringing" upon some rules & regulations (and still learning about Wikipedia)
Please let me know if I need to provide more evidence or what actions I need to take to keep the page. Thanks in advance. Val Jelinic 14:33, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
- It seems that you took care of the advert part, which is fine, but please take into account what Wikipedia is not. It is not a free web host. Entries must meet minimum inclusion criteria, which, for corporations, are laid out here. Additionally, one of the pillars of Wikipedia is a neutral point of view. Given that you are the company's co-owner, editing an article about your company puts you in a conflict of interest. So I believe the best thing to do would be to wait for someone else, with no connection to the company, to create the article and describe it from an outsider's point of view. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 14:45, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
