Film plots

[edit]

Hi there. I notice that you're a new editor to Wikipedia, and that you've edited the plot sections of several film articles to add details about various plot points. I recommend that you read The manual of style for film articles, specifically the section on plot summaries. It has been the longstanding consensus guideline on Wikipedia that plot summaries for film articles should be between 400 and 700 words, and that they should be an overview of the film's main events, avoiding minutia and scene-by-scene breakdowns. Some of your recent edits, such as those to Newsies, have added an unnecessary amount of minute detail to plot summaries and caused them to expand well over 700 words. Please try to avoid this in the future, and remember that vigorous writing is concise. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 08:14, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the right way to respond but I wanted to say thank-you for the help! Bluebonnet07

September 2017

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to CustomInk. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Phytochemicals and research quality

[edit]

Hi. Regarding this edit which I reverted, suggestions about the health effects of consuming berry plant leaves or their phytochemical extracts require a high level of evidence, which your sources do not have. We need systematic reviews or a meta-analysis of completed, high-quality clinical trials, characteristics far in advance of the sources you offered. Please review WP:MEDRS, particularly the section on assessing evidence quality. Following you here if you wish to respond. --Zefr (talk) 23:57, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank-you for explaining!
