hello

I am a fan of Jin Jing. Should I change my usename? Thanks!--Supportjinjing (talk) 23:44, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Technically, I'm not sure, although you do seem to have interest with Jin Jing, and you were mass posting on admin's talk pages...I'm not sure...do you want to talk this over with an admin? BoL (Talk) 23:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry that I post so much on admin's talk pages. I stop. I just want some comments on that article and we can improve that article. Which admin should I ask about my usename? Thanks! Or do you have any comments on that article? Thanks.--Supportjinjing (talk) 23:50, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
The comments are on your talk page, and your username can be discussed here. BoL (Talk) 23:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! I talked to that admin. My English is not very good. Could you help me improve that article? Thanks!--Supportjinjing (talk) 23:58, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Your resent edit to the article reverting an new editor http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=George_W._Bush&diff=prev&oldid=204808094 edit] should not be identified as vandalism. Maybe a nice note in the edit summary "discuss on talk page". The fact the editor tried to add is true, but the way he edited was completely wrong. Being that he is a new editor we may want to AGF not bite. Have a nice day, Igor Berger (talk) 00:31, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

I apologize, but I didn't realize that he had choked on a pretzel before, which I thought was (funny, I'll admit). Anyway, yeah, usually all first edits are accounted for editing tests, so that's why I warn them with the test thing, and I usually assume too much vandalism too much. You too. BoL (Talk) 00:36, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh do not worry, easy to make a mistake when dealing with vandals. Some of them are socks that create sleeper accounts to attack a good faith editors to distract their true POV. Have read at this The Twilight Zone. Keep up the good work! Igor Berger (talk) 00:53, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! Interesting... BoL (Talk) 02:23, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Topic ban

Is your topic ban not still in effect, or did filing checkuser requests get added to the areas you are allowed to edit? If I remember correctly, it was just this sort of headhunting that caused you problems in the past. Avruch T 11:14, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

It's not in effect if you didn't notice. Proof. BoL (Talk) 18:31, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

A little note

Don't bother warning them - they're all one-offs. Just report them to AIV and tell them they're harassing other users. -Jéské (v^_^v Karistaa Usko) 02:32, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Your talk page? Will do. BoL (Talk) 02:33, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Greetings...I was wondering if you've been following the sordid history of this page. This user, apparently the subject's mother, has been repeatedly blanking this page for some time now and issuing legal threats about it. She's already had her account (NaomiSyken (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)) indef blocked for this activity, and the IP you warned (69.253.242.57 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) -- note that all edits have been to this article, indicating this is not a multi-user IP) was given a 48-hour block earlier this week for the same vandalism. She's been given a multitude of warnings and every opportunity to voice her concerns constructively, and if she'd been paying attention she'd have seen that some of those concerns have already been addressed, yet she persists. If I'd seen this blanking before you did, I likely would have taken it straight back to AIV, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Your mileage may vary, but she's well beyond Level 1 warnings at this point. Thanks, and happy editing! --Finngall talk 05:09, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Watchlisted. Why does the mom don't want her daughter to be famous anyway, am I right ;-) BoL (Talk) 02:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
More like, she thinks the article is slanderous in some fashion, so she keeps replacing that info (now fully sourced) with just links to the kid's web site and her page at the Israeli skating federation site, or just blanking entirely. The only part of the article that could have been considered POV was an unsourced statement that she switched to competing for Israel after failing to qualify for the US skating team, and that part is gone now. Shrug, sigh, whatever. Thanks again. --Finngall talk 02:49, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh, so she wants her to be the best they can...I see...but, yeah, what you said. You're welcome :) BoL (Talk) 03:24, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Case-sensitive

I spent hours trying to figure out why my tables were'nt aligning right. Thanks to you there looking great. But I found out something about wikipedia's html codeing, its case-sensitive or semi case sensitive. I looked at what you did to make them align and all that was wrong with it was the spacing. In regular html codeing I could space as many times as i wanted and they would align right. In my opinion it would be easier if wikipedia used regular html. Thanks for your time and help. --Condolence "(talk)" 05:50, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome, but Wikipedia prefers MediaWiki syntax, I've suggested certain HTML to be enabled, but are not for security reasons. BoL (Talk) 05:55, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

75.31.245.128

I realize that you're not an admin and you don't sock-hunt anymore, but 75.31.245.128 (talk · contribs · logs) is now clearly exhibiting the same edit pattern as banned user TyrusThomas4lyf (talk · contribs · logs). Do you know of an admin who specializes in sock-blocks? Thanks. — Myasuda (talk) 15:25, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Screw that, I'm back in business. I believe I do know an admin, Krimpet (talk · contribs · logs)'s pretty good in rangeblocking, but maybe checkuser may be better, and recommended. Cheers, BoL (Talk) 01:38, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
