The article Alien Adventures (Film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball; this film is not yet notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cody Kear requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Acroterion (talk) 23:19, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you want to get involved, but I'm afraid there's a problem with the article you created, Sammy G. It's about a person, but the person doesn't appear to meet Wikipedia's notability criteria. It's a common mistake for new users to make, but Wikipedia isn't a directory, but an encyclopedia- we don't need an article about every person in the world, but only those who have been written about in newspapers, magazines, and books, and we all avoid writing about ourselves. Biographicon is a directory of biographies of people, without a notability requirement, and might be a better place for you to put your profile. I hope that's helpful- feel free to ask me if you have any questions. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:21, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, as you did at User talk:FisherQueen, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Acroterion (talk) 21:47, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:45, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for harassment of other users, refusal to accept Wikipedia site policies, and attacking other users in an offsite forum. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Beeblebrox (talk) 20:44, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To the Editors

[edit]

To Beeblebrox:

Star Wars was an independent film made on a low budget and since then has had two sequels, three prequels, two animated series, an animated film, multiple video games, a whole bunch of books, and was George Lucas' third film.

To Acroterion:

Maybe I made a mistake, but FisherQueen still blocked something I was on when I just said patiently that my blog was more reliable than most sources on this site which is true because you get your info from sites that sometimes do not have any thing to do with the makers of the films.

To FisherQueen:

I am sorry that I told you that you were worse than one of the worse people I know, but if you saw the worst person I know you would laugh in relief. But there is the fact that before I said that, you blocked me because of unknown reasons. Please tell me why I was originally blocked just because I said that my sources were reliable and that I did not like being called a girl.

To All of You:

I realize that I wrote stupidly, but there is still the fact that my film is very well written and will be in theaters most likely. Also, FisherQueen is not very patient, because she blocked me for no apparent reason. My page deserves to be up as much as the Bloons page deserves to be up and the pages for stuff that isn't even as far along as my film is. Taking down the page for Sammy G wasn't too smart either because he has a promising future in rapping. Maybe I should not have put up one for me but that one and the one for my movie did not need to be deleted. The film is very likely to get into theaters.

Bloonsman16 (talk) 00:36, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I blocked you from editing anonymously because you were logging out and editing anonymously in order to look like two people who both support keeping the articles you created. I intended only to block anonymous editing; were you unable to edit while logged in? I have no idea whether you are male or female; do you think it is an insult to be called 'she?' Is it bad to be a girl? You don't appear to understand yet what kinds of articles are useful at Wikipedia; have you read the notability criteria and the reliable source guidelines yet? Do you understand why you and your friends aren't subjects that an encyclopedia would need articles about? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 02:32, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was not trying to edit anonymously. I was just trying to edit as myself. I also did not know that Cody could be a girl's name. That was an honest mistake. You should not block anonymous editing because you were not sure that it was me. This is said to be a site that anyone can edit. You do not understand what articles are useful if you think mine are not. You have no right to say that I cannot have a page for my film when there are movies on here that do not even have a trailer yet. At least my trailer will be out soon. Bloonsman16 (talk) 16:44, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm sorry, Bloomsman, I really am, but I am going to remove your ability to edit this talk page. You clearly have no understanding of what the problems are with your edits and you utterly refuse to even try to listen to what more experienced users are telling you. We have tried to educate you on how things work here, and you have decided that you know better than everyone else so there seems little point in having any further discussion on the matter. If you want to appeal your block you will need to contact WP:BASC by email. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:48, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Attacks

[edit]

Offsite has nothing to do with you frankly, because that was not meant to actually be posted. I did not harass anyone; if anything I was harassed. The incompetence thing is something I will not answer anywhere because of the profanity that I have in my head about that.

Bloonsman16 (talk) 01:47, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Incompetent" means merely that you don't possess the skills that are necessary to help make the encyclopedia better - you have demonstrated that you are not able to cite sources, use sources to gather information, or read and understand rules. It doesn't mean that you are a bad person. I, myself, am incompetent as a surgeon, and should definitely be blocked from any attempts to do surgery. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 02:35, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I know it is not a fun word to be labeled with, and I would love it if you proved me wrong by showing some understanding of why our content policies do not allow the type of material you were posting. Please note also that you can use the unblock request template as outlined in your block notice if you would like a previously uninvolved administrator to review this block. Beeblebrox (talk) 02:37, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen several issues that you must address before you can contribute to this encyclopedia:

  • You've never listened to or understood the advice that experienced editors have offered
  • You appear to be solely concerned with your own interests, to the detriment of the encyclopedia
  • You confuse criticism with attack
  • You are not willing to collaborate respectfully with other editors, particularly female editors

These are all issues that are resolved with maturity. It is clear that you are too young to participate in this project productively. That is not unusual: many young editors appear here before they are ready. In other words, they aren't yet competent in the difficult art of text-based communication with strangers on a professional, adult level. We expect you to understand and respect Wikipedia's rules. If you can't, or won't, you are not allowed to edit here. Acroterion (talk) 03:05, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
