Thanks for saying that I am the best wikipedian ever! But unfortunatly, you will not be able to become an admin. If you click on your edit count, you have about 280 edits, you need at least 4000 to be an admin. But, if you still want to try, you may go to WP:RfA... -- penubag (talk) 00:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To make a side bar, you first need to create a user subpage (see WP:Subpages#How_to_create_user_subpages) for example User:Example/Sidebar and then you copy the HTML code that I wrote onto it. To then put it onto your userpage, you transclude it with {{User:Example/Sidebar}} onto all the pages that should have one. Hope this helps -- penubag (talk) 05:07, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Morbid Axe, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Morbid Axe seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Morbid Axe, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click hereCSDWarnBot (talk) 05:02, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah. I was done editing Wikipedia, but I have returned now (as you can see) and am going to change that when I feel like it. And yes, I am on Despoiler as well.--Oxico (talk) 00:54, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for uploading Image:Happy Tree Friends Theater Film 2008.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:46, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good day. Someone has proposed this article's deletion. The movie is probably a hoax; on the talk page of the Happy Tree Friends Wikia article, even the founder of the wiki is unsure of it. --UberScienceNerdTalkContributions02:40, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kári Streymoy, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.tyr.net/site/kari.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Well, I'm stupid: I thought you were new here, but you probably know what to do - the catch is actually executing these steps. Can't help you there; unless notability is established, the article will almost certainly be deleted. GregorB (talk) 08:54, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Read WP:BAND and WP:NOTE. Those show you how to establish notability. As the person above says, your band needs to meet one of the criteria at WP:BAND, and you need to establish the verifiability of this. Otherwise, the band's article is fated to be remain deleted. I can restore and userfy the page into your user space for you to work on to get it to a point where it will not be deleted, but until you get it there, it should not be in the main article space. - TexasAndroid (talk) 23:17, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to coment at the AfD and further expand the article as I have expanded and sourced it. Very interesting concept... the online conception and follow-through. And yes, you can copy/paste it to your sandbox for continued work. Schmidt,MICHAEL Q.06:44, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I noticed your comments at this AfD. Please note that the AfD was closed before you made your comments, as the nomination was withdrawn. Any further conversation should be on the article's talk page. Beeblebrox (talk) 05:57, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for uploading Image:Amidstthebloodshed2007cover.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
Fair use rationale for Image:Amidstthebloodshed2007cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Amidstthebloodshed2007cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rockfang (talk) 20:24, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Proposed deletion of 30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article 30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
Hasn't received coverage in third-party sources to meet notability requirements.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Hello Blood Lines of Darkness! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
Fellows, let's be reasonable, huh? This is not the time or the place to perform some kind of a half-assed autopsy on a fish... And I'm not going to stand here and see that thing cut open and see that little Kintner boy spill out all over the dock! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Perpetualmotionlemus (talk • contribs) 15:05, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Altered Genesis until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
