[edit]Our project will be exploring and researching Black Women and Music from the time span of the 1900s until 2000. We will be transitioning through each decade covering the historical and political events of that time that impacted the music of Black Women. Each group member is assigned three paragraphs: First, each group member will introduce and explain the two decades they are researching, what happened during that time, why was it important and its effect on music. Second and Third, each group member will highlight two singers in which they will go into detail about their life as a singer and their contribution to music during that time. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Y.ruvalcaba/Black_Women_and_Music — Preceding unsigned comment added by Erikaaa09 (talk • contribs) 11:05, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Professor, Our group is going to work on fixing and editing Memphis Minnie wikipedia page. We're going to format it just like the way how every other musicians and artists has been formatted, from the introduction to her biography to her career to her personal life all the way up to her death and legacy as well as her discography. So here's what we're exactly going to do:
Aram is going to work on her biography, Jon is going to work on her career, Gabbie is going to work on her personal life (i.e. her relationships/love life), Aden is going to work on her death and legacy, and I, yours truly here, am going to work on her discography.

What do you think Professor? (Erika.kiika (talk) 07:46, 5 November 2012 (UTC)) Beatnom (talk) 18:18, 6 November 2012 (UTC)beatnom
Pas 324 Group 9, I wasn’t able to find much on Patricia Bell Scott other than what Erika has already found (i.e., University of Georgia,Family & Consumer Sciences, Bookfinder . My plans for the project that are that we 1. Title the article with the authors name “Patricia Bell Scott.” 2. The introductory section should begin with who she is, why she is important, her full name, date of birth, and a summary of contributions. 3. The following sections can then be separated into her history/background information, where she works and has worked, and life’s work and contributions, which can each have their own sections.
