Article

[edit]

Hello Blacksun83. I appreciate the fact that you nominated that draft for deletion. I am notifying you that during the discussion to delete the draft, in my capacity as a reviewer of such submissions, I have promoted the draft to an article, because the submission meets the requirements for inclusion in the encyclopedia in terms of policy-compliance and notability. This moots the ongoing discussion which was heading for deletion, which might seem strange, but the process does not suspend other processes, and the draft space is an optional mechanism. It is still possible that the now-article gets deleted. A different forum pertains to deletion of articles: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. The real outcome which you were looking for anyway, in my opinion, is a decision formed through consensus that an article be deleted, because even if the draft had been deleted, it would still have been possible to create an article, and while there is some theoretical chance that it also would be deleted because the draft had been deleted, in reality this would not happen. So deleting the draft would not have been a full resolution and would not prevent an entry of an article into article space. About notability: The book received significant critical attention (and that's all that is needed, unless there is some exceptional consensus to delete in spite of that). I hope this is helpful.
