Welcome

[edit]

It's a shame that no one has welcomed you here yet. So WELCOME TO WIKIPEDIA and thanks for your contribs. I would offer a link to stuff you can do as a new user, but you probably already know about them. Feel free to ask me any questions if you do need any help though. --Reflex Reaction (talk)• 21:30, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Andy, thanks for the message. I'd be glad to help. You may want to start with this page
The first thing I would do is create another page titled "The Rebel (disambiguation)" and reference it at the top of "The Rebel" page with one of the "Otheruses" templates, Otheruses4 is probably a good choice, see Wikipedia:Template messages/General#Disambiguation for what is needed. Make sure to put {{disambig}} at the bottom of the new page you have created.
At the new page say something like "The Rebel is the title for several creative works:" and list the items at the bottom of the original page. I would create links to each of the films even if they haven't been created, something like:
* '''''[[The Rebel (1915 movie|The Rebel]]''''' is a 1915 movie by X starring Y
* '''''[[The Rebel (1933 movie|The Rebel]]''''' is a 1933 movie by X starring Y
Don't forget to add the original article to the disambig. I have added your talk page as well as "The Rebel" page to my watchlist so you can feel free to continue the conversation here if you have any other questions. --Reflex Reaction (talk)• 03:46, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

We have a content dispute issue. Please comment on the talk page. This message is being sent out to everyone who didn't vote Delete in the last TfD of the template, ie: User:SimonP User:Jules.lt User:Pjacobi User:thames User:Michael User:Christopherparham User:FranksValli User:Silence User:Andymussell User:Moosh88 User:Rick Norwood User:Izehar

Hi Andymussell. Thanks for the help fighting vandalism. It seems that the IP belongs to a school, so it will probably always be trouble. Anyway, about the vandalism policies, you should check out Dealing with vandalism. In that case they could have been reported to the admins for a ban, since the ignored a final warning. Thanks again! Please help save Repo Man movie article

[edit]

Hey BlackAndy,

This guy, Dædαlus, is in there trying to remove parts that you, I and many others contributed to the Repo Man article. Please add to the bottom of this thread on the Repo Man talk page that you think the "Notable Motifs" section should not be blanked (erased), but left as is since the Pulp Fiction article also has a "Notable Motifs" section that isn't being considered for removal at all (even by Dædαlus himself).

While I agree that the "Notable Motifs" section could use some work, it certainly won't help the article to delete the whole thing and erase all our work which consists of many multiple contributers over a course of years. I'm willing to work on it and better incorporate it into the article, he just wants to delete it all!

With consensus, we can stop this guy from deleting all our work soon!

Thanks in advance. Cowicide (talk) 02:23, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
